becomes confusing. As terrorist attacks are still likely on India or the Indian controlled parts of Kashmir, what to do?

If America gets together another group of like minded countries to bomb the hell out of Pakistan and 'root out terrorists wherever they may hide' then nuclear war between Pakistan and India is made even more likely.

If America does nothing then does that mean her policy on terrorism becomes more transparantly selective than it was in the beginning?

What does Bush prefer. To save lives or to save face?

By sending defence secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, to the region next week to pile more pressure on Pakistani leader, General Pervez Musharraf, it looks like the former.

George might be growing up at last.

But does it mean he's necessarily going to abandon his 'war' on terrorism? After all the US government have enough new controls over its citizens now to last it for another couple of hundred years whilst personal dossiers are being built up on everyone.

Poor George...

Rash statements made in the heat of the moment will forever come back and haunt you...

No, this is a war instigated by the Chinese. They have plans to deal with both countries once the fallout settles.

The good news being a lot like the scene in Braveheart where Longshanks orders the archers to shoot into the melee...

Pardon my lord. Won't we hit our own men?

Yes, but we'll hit thier's as well...

SO nuclear war is really a win-win in the fight against terrorists in the hills of the [...]istans...

Let's see.

It's our governments position that Pakistan is attempting to do something about the terrorists within it's borders. It's India's position that it isn't.

It's India's claim that the terrorist's that attacked the parliment were sent with the blessing of the Pakistani government. As all the terrorists are dead, who's to know?

So, do we take India's side in this? Or Pakisatns's?

While the terrorist's are certainly Muslim, and possibly Pakistani, how to know for sure? And how do you prove that the Pakistanin government is training and missioning these people? The answer is, you can't.

This is a regional conflict between two relatively unsophisticated countries. Complicated by both the Sikh's and the Muslim sepratists of the Kashmir. I see India's use of this as an excuse to threaten nuclear war as inconsciounable.

But that's just my opinion.

Let the brain trust in Brussels figure it out. Im sure the EU RDF can mobilize and take care of the situation.

I'm just not going to lower myself down to his level any longer and be guilty by association. He's the Jerry Springer of Literotica.

I did, but my strong moral side had to balance my greedy, grasping, capitalist side.

Or I'd never sleep at nights...

English?

Miles...I agree with you 100%.
I am also an Englishman, but I live in the wonderful USA, and have done for 12 months now and I intend staying here.

However, I am a fraid to say that we are always going to have these 'snipes' between the UK and the USA...but yes I agree, we don't need comments that can generate into nastiness,

And has for BORED's comments about letting the EU and Brussels sorting it out...shit...they have problems in wiping their own asses. Remember...they stood back, somewhat, over the last (and ongoing) conflict...leave it to Brussels? Fuck that!

Anyway...the sun is shining here in CA...the temp is going to hit high 80's and the golf course is beckoning me.....bye.
