What is always overlooked about Animal Farm is this: It's the story of the Revolution gone wrong -- but not a word in the story suggests the Revolution was a bad idea, or that Old Major's vision was ill-conceived, or that it was in any way wicked for the animals to rebel against Jones and take over his farm. Presumably everything would have gone as Old Major intended if only the pigs were of better character.
