This is weird

Well, damn. LOL OK.... I chose the queen of diamonds. WD, which card did you choose? Is this thing based on a statistical probability that you will choose a certain card based on it's position?

He was right 3 fucking times in a row. Different cards.

ok, the first I took was the jack of diamonds. Did it a 4th time and went back to the jack of diamonds and he was right again.

Okay, I picked the Queen of Diamonds, and granted, that card was missing. However, the King of Hearts had been replaced with the Queen of Hearts when it returned it's "answer". I, uh, wouldn't call that all that accurate.

Sure, Quint. Or at least you can PM me if you want.

WARNING: this ruins the trick.

I did it three times. By the second time, I had a sneaking suspicion that the cards shown the first time and the cards shown the second time were not the same. They aren't. Here's the key:

K: King, Q: Queen, J: Jack
H: Hearts, C: Clubs, S: Spades, D: Diamonds.

First set: KH, JC, KS, QD, QC, JD
Second set: QH, KC, JH, QS, KD

The colors are the same, the order is mixed up, and there is a card missing, but the suits are reversed! It was very well-done.

Yeah, I clued into that as well. When the cards come back, it isn't the same cards. But because the "remaining" cards don't stay on the screen long enough for one to truly study them, it appears that the card you pick is gone. In reality, none of the cards that appear as the original 6 are in the bunch at the end. Or so I've discovered after 4 times.

Yeah, it gets you to focus on one card and then changes them all.

Well, it is an illusion!

It's almost a shame it lets people try it multiple times; the trick would be much more effective if it could only be done once.

Still longing for innocent days of gullibility, even though I'm still patting myself on the back for catching on so fast...

Lol... I didn't catch it but I only tried once. Impressive, Quint. Bravo.

***SPOILERS***

You can also have the trick where it asks you NOT TO CLICK but a majority of people will nonetheless scroll their mouse OVER their choice in contemplation (without clicking). That can also give away the choice. Quint is right about this version.

(Saw a similiar thing once)
