Hey, it's worth a shot. ;)

Now I know how I was missed by the newbie welcoming committee.

each person post one rule or the way to do things.
#1 - Don't piss Muffy (that would be KillerMuffin to all y'all newbies) off too early in the game unless you're flameproof or you like body parts chopped off and spread all over the landscape. She's got a warm gooey center - but you gotta watch that hard crunchy outer shell!

~wandering over to share some of the flame with u2slow13... pssst... i don't so the dripping, okay? i'm on the *other* side.~

We already have that rule Ren. Unfortunately, we also have the rule - men that can't spell or use proper grammar get no pictures. :p

Oh, good. Then I don't have to worry about not receiving the pictures. And I want full body shots, Kitten.

;)

That wouldn't be a good thing, trust me. Everyday I see this body naked, and you're not missing much, believe me on that one.

Kitten misses very little.

Such as the proper usage of apostrophes in possesives. ;)

Wait, this post came out a little worse then I had meant. There is much to be missed in certain areas but what I meant was..... ah, nevermind. :p

~stepping out from behind the drapes~

I admit ... I'm a lurker!

One of those people who feels like I know all of the regulars from following the threads, daily ... but, if I ever spoke up acknowledging the one-sided familiarity, you'd all be scratching your heads and wondering "who the hell is that?"

I first came to Lit for the stories ... and then registered as a chatter a couple of years ago. I was a reg in Lit chat when the old gang was there ... we had some fun times (many). Then came here to the GB to get Laurel's attention because of a problem in chat (a private room shut down by a CM during a cyberwedding). The intrusion wasn't well received by the GB regulars. It was hard to understand because there was only a single thread made to address the problem, which was clearly intended for those interested, and we chatters considered ourselves Literotica family. Some time later, another chat related thread was started to address a problem (phantom CMs booting people without justified cause)... and that too was met with irritation by the GB posters.

Having spoken my mind on those two threads, I've often felt I would alienate the regular GB posters by joining in. So, I lurk mostly *smiles*

That's it

Call the interior design people, I want sheer drapes in here by this time tomorrow. There are literate lurkers back there, and where there's one there's fire.

Or something.

A chatter, eh? Well wrap me in silk I have never chatted at lit. I'm sort of on a 12-step program, actually, and the boards are um... a sign it isn't really working, I suppose.

Hi Cherry.

I knew if I looked long enough, I'd find you. Did you really attend a Lit Annon meeting? Spill it, what was it like?

Dragging Cherry in.....HELLO GIRL.....long time no see, well offering my hand to all the lurkers, come on in and play the waters fine..........;)

ROTFL!
No, no, not lit... see, this was less interactive - less immediate. Not like instant messaging, or a chat-room, the concept of a "board" sounded very much more reasonable. Well, it is, unless you scamper from thread to thread - at least until you realize there's also instant messaging built in here. So while I am not "right back where I started from" by any means, I am not presently attending lit anon meetings, either. They told me the first step was to admit I had a problem, and they didn't think "Fuck that!" was a funny response.

~ sticking a toe in the water ~

Hello Knight *smiles* Thanks for the welcome
~ grasping on to the drapes for a quick getaway ~

HIYA April! How are you, girlie?
I've been watching you ... you're as naughty as ever! <--hahaha

Dammit, I thought I was finally going to find out what happens there. I just can't tear myself away from the boards long enough to attend.

seeing as how cym left and that waters just too damn cold :) just why do you think they're so afraid to come out in the open? I've heard of all the excuses like getting flamed or their feelings hurt but damn, turn the computer off and it will all be better tomorrow. Ahhhh....

I envy the water

I do soooo like toes. They are such a fun place to start...
Hang in, Cherry, you obviously know us better than we know you. :)

By the way, to those other lurkers (yes, we know you're there, the curtains keep moving) I realize it's a bit obvious, but I am here to confirm that mixing a little rum with some cold medication is BOUND to loosen up your inhibitions a bit. Next thing you know you'll be laughing at Marxist and stuff...
