Normally a Thursday night game is pretty blah and in any other dimension or alternate universe a Jets/Browns game would be considered a crime against humanity but right now it's possible ( but still unlikely) that not only might it be a good game but the Browns might actually win one.
They've been my fave underdog team forever. I'm 50 years old and remember only a couple good seasons and "good" is subjective in this case.
I have several actual good teams I tend to root for but only one Cubs-like team. And hey, the Cubs finally won so...

Whole point is it might be a good game tonight.

Boomer Sooner Baby! Glad to see Mayfield lead the Browns to a come from behind victory. He lived up to the #1 pick and changed the complexion of the game on both offense and defense for the Browns. Mayfield was even better than the stats showed with the three dropped balls. Mayfield I am sure will have some growing pains but as a OU fan Mayfield doesn't get rattled. Mayfield has been a winner everywhere and just wants to compete.

The main complaint about Darnold has always been when he gets rattled he makes bad plays continually and forces the ball in pressure situations when there isnt a play to be made. Darnold throws off of his back foot way to much which is deadly for a QB. Darnold shows all the characteristics of being a pitcher at one point. Darnold relies way to much on his arm. IMO he got bad advice to come out for the draft. Time will tell.

Good with me tho cuz I picked up Mayfield in a dynasty league in the draft. Figured he'd be playing before long.
Good on the Browns for getting a W. Curious now to see if they'll get the 8 that was predicted in preseason. I think they might actually be able to.

The day may come when I get over his scumbaggery days but it's not today. He'll be in the HOF, maybe even a first ballot but that doesn't override his overwhelming dickheadedness from his earlier years.

If you follow Football at all you knew Taylor was a Pasie to begin with. Taylor has never done anything as a QB. Taylor would be better off going the route as a WR. Hell Mayfield is a better WR than Taylor at this point. The problem with Taylor is he is not a winner. Mayfield is a winner and exudes confidence and will get down and dirty with the boys. The offense and defense believes in Mayfield and will play there heart out for him. QB #30 in Cleveland has changed the attitude and I am happy it is a Boomer Sooner.

I find it funny Eric Reid finally signed a contract after at least his 3rd Contract offer. Two of which came from the 49ers the latest just before Carolina.

In away I am glad he skipped the Niners offer not once but twice. Yes we could use the football player. The sideshow and Cancer definitely not. I would love to know what Carolina stipulated in his contract if anything.

Darnold was the third pick in the draft and it's hard to do much better, so I think coming out was the right decision for him. I would have taken him over Mayfield based mostly on superior size and age (he's two years younger), but it will be a while before we know who got it right.

New York and Cleveland may be the two toughest cities to be an NFL quarterback. Speaking as someone who knows a little bit of the history here, Browns fans are so used to looking ahead to drafting their next quarterback that they tend to lose patience with the current one immediately. It will happen to Mayfield too, assuming they keep losing, and that's always the way to bet.

This is actually a common phenomenon in Ohio, where there are a sickening number of Steelers fans due to the Browns never having given anyone under age 35 a reason to root for them.
