This is no joke and it is going mainstream. The Associated Press is bringing this to light. The birth issue is going mainstream all the sudden since McCain attacked rival candidate Republican J.D. Hayworth in Arizona yesterday over wanting Obama to show his Birth Certificate which I think prompted the legislature to act on this that was proposed a few months back. I knew this would backfire on Az John McCain if he brought this up.

The demcrats during the election questioned McCains eligibility to be president and if he was a Natural Born Citizen because he was born in the Panama Canal Zone but the didn't question Obamas eligibility because of the fear that anyone or news agency who did would be deemed a racist. The Senate made a resolution declaring McCain was indeed a Natural Born Citizen and met the Contitutional Qualifications to be President and guess who was one of the authors of the resolution who signed it? Obama who was not eligible. Anyway I can't wait for Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermanns reactions tommorrow on MSNBC because the Associated Press is taking off with this because they have no choice since the Arizona legislature did this. This is not what Obama wanted

Every news agency in the last hour has picked this story up.

PHOENIX – Nearly half of the Arizona Legislature wants to force President Barack Obama to show his birth certificate to state officials if he runs for re-election.

A state House committee on Tuesday approved the measure sponsored by 40 of the state's 90 legislators. It would require presidential candidates who want to appear on the ballot in Arizona to submit documents proving they meet the requirements to be president.

All 40 co-sponsors are Republicans, comprising 75 percent of the GOP caucus. Two of them have since resigned to run for Congress.

The idea was proposed by Skull Valley Republican Rep. Judy Burges. She says if people have to prove their citizenship to apply for a job or get a passport, they should have to prove it to run for president

What troubles me more is duh1's extreme secrecy over ANY other personal information (except one medical report). WHAT is he hiding so vigorously?
