That is terrible, and crappy. However, and I hate to say it, but I don't see how the parents of a ten year old boy could feel safe enough, in Edmonton, to let him go off on his own with a German Shepard dog. I don't care how the temperment of the dog is..... they are big, and they are not easy to handle if they want to run off, and you never know what a dog will do, I don't care how fucking nice your dog is.
I know this is all too probable to deny, and that isn't what I am doing here. People are fucked up, and I've noticed that the lack of discretion, and concern that many parents have for the whereabouts and direction of the life of their teenagers, makes this situation all too probable, and will most likly not be the end of it. I am just saying that I don't get it. I would NEVER let my 10 year old kid take our dog to the park with out a group of friends along, or US! What if the dog got loose from the boy? 'What ifs' are enough for most parents to want to regulate regulate a 10 year old boy and a German Shepard dog at a park.
