Both my parents worked, so she pretty much raised me. A fact she reminded me of when I got married. It’s been two years since she passed, and it still doesn’t seem real.

There was more bullshit today and yesterday, all move related, and all on the part of my soon-to-be former housemates. The sooner we get out of here, the better.

Well hello! It’s good to see you!

Yeah, moving sucks. We moved to our current location four years ago, after twelve years of living in our own apartment. We got priced out (thank you gentrification), and thought we found a good arrangement. And it was, until this year. The pandemic has brought out the worst in some people. Where we’re going has more room, and people who give a shot about us. It’s going to be a much better situation. I’ll have a slightly longer commute to and from work, but it’s worth it.

This is going to be the last Full Frontal Friday for probably a week or two. I know I said I would try to keep up during the move, but that’s just not feasible. Long story short, our timetable to be out of here has moved up, and we need to hunker down if we’re going to finish the move in the next ten days. Also, my mental health has taken a real hit and I need to get myself centered again so I can actually function.

So, I will see you all soon. This has been the worst move of my life, and I will be profoundly grateful when this is over and I don’t have to deal with the stress anymore.
