The show.... was a 'thing' all to itself, Vail. Rider is right though, its not lies.
Especially for those that adore the books as the show... was doomed to fail from the start. You cant take a book series, almost the whole series, throw it in a wood chipper and then put the pieces back together like a puzzle, then expect the story to be cohesive. On its own though. It did a very good job of giving Sword of Truth Addicts, and people that have never read the books, a little visual bump into the characters, like talking to old friends (and some hotness!)
