I'm missing?

Lets take a look here shall we :- People that are missing and missed,

Deborah, Flagg, Lasher, Havoc, Magic Merlin, Lovely Latina, Roger Simian, *Eve*, Angelique, Xander, Endlessly the list goes on. That is not only not fair to them but to the members of this board that love them too. They have style, something that alot of these new ones don't seem to have. I'm not bashing here, I'm Stating a Fact.

Wow, that's news to me. Although I don't post as frequently as some, I am still lurking around the board. It's good to know I'd be missed should do actually go missing. Nicole we have to talk soon about that raise I've been promising you.


Now, One of the reasons I tend to stay out a lot of the drama and conflict is a while ago, I don't think a lot of people were here to see it, but I had a conflict with one of the other regulars. I thought I was attacked unjustifiably and so I wrote that person an email hoping to smooth things out but instead we just ended up exchanging a couple nasty emails, and I never want to be in that situation again. To this day I think that the attack was unjustified, but you know what? I should have let it go and then I wouldn't have had to go through the emailing childish messages back and forth and I didn't have to go through the feeling of giving up this board just to avoid this one person. I them remembered that this person is someone I will never probably meet so why should what he thinks of me affect my actions. Not too long ago someone was posting as a guest and called me all sorts of names and I don't even recall ever having a conversation with that person, but you know what I did? I let it go and the amazing thing was I had people that were defending me and I didn't have to do a thing. I think a lot of times we get hot and frustrated and want to strike back when we could have just let it die a natural death as it would if it's ignored. Believe me when that person who attacks you realizes that you could care less about what they think they'll either give up or just make other people see what a jerk they are.

Now that was in no way talking about any one person, so don't take it personal. We're all adults here (I hope) so all know better.

Come on people, I can think of only FIVE people on this board that continuously and maliciously cause problems. The rest of the 'fights' are small spats that are forgotten or worked out. Now there are FIVE people who truly cause problems and I'd say about sixty other posters on this board that I can easily recognize.
In fact, I can only think of one problem maker who has been actively posting his brand of discontent these last few days. Now, one person can do nothing, sixty people reacting by sinking to his level can. Whose board is it anyways?

No, it's our board. The real problem makers aren't going to go away but the problem itself will if we act like mature adults and ignore them. If people want to leave this board I'll miss them, but I'm not leaving it myself, nor am I going to be silenced by the classroom bullies.
So, what if you get a nasty e-mail? Delete. These people want responses - ignore them. Refuse to post to them. Everyone here has been called names, everyone here should know those kinds of words are spoken by morons who crave some sort of reaction.

This place is OUR own little microcosm and I choose to embrace the positive and disregard the negative. This board, like life, is exactly what you make of it.
