Hello! Yes I did! Just wrapped it up a little while ago. Paperwork for the job and then I'm (hopefully) marking time until the end of the shift.

Also was notified by my manager that I was going to receive a promotion I applied for and interviewed for a couple days ago. The guys in the shop who applied withdrew themselves today, leaving me as the sole applicant.

Sure, I live in Washington state. The state is bisected by The Cascade Mountains. This divides the state into Eastern and Western Washington.

The Cascades are a tall mountain range. Storms come in from the Pacific and a large proportion of the rain is dropped on the western side. The east is considerably more arid than the West side.

Seattle is on the West side. It's frequently referred to as The Wet side, since I live on the West side I am a "Wetsider."

Well i slept. Like crap. I feel like i would have been more productive if i'd stayed up and worked.

I think we have to adjust as we get older, so that second shift becomes the new third shift, we go to bed at 8:30, and have to fit any shenanigans in just after supper.

Hiya cas. I've got a couple of sick kids and I'm about to settle down and watch Dunkirk, of all things. As long as they're well-written and well acted (and not too gory), i really like war movies. Weird, huh?

Do you remember Platoon? Yikes! I saw that in the theater and really should have taken a pass. It was good but... disturbing AF. Definitely too much for my sensitive system.

Thank goodness for DVD players and that blessed pause button that lets me take a break and come back when I'm ready.
