Thinking about going Blonde again. Trying to talk myself out of it. Aggggh.

I don't know what to do. Maybe I am just in a funk and feel ugly or something, but I keep thinking about bleaching my hair again.

Pros:
All men love a blonde.
I will get away with acting dumb
It's a change
I am cute?


Cons:
Expensive to maintain.. roots are a bitch, but no more expensive than the henna I am using now.

It always causes damage to my hair, and to keep it long, and blonde, I get split ends up the wazoo.

I seriously am not taken seriously by many, many people when I am blonde. It was a dramatic difference in how much more reasonable people made judgements about my person when I went natural again. I am still the witty, smart and HILARIOUS Starfish I ever was, but others don't see that. Why do people think "dumb" when they see blonde hair. It's fucking annoying.

I have a complexion that is more fitting to Auburn tones.

I'm a natural blonde and i'm always gonna be blonde, too, no matter what Mother Nature thinks.

I'm not, however, a dumb blonde and delight in shoving that particular stereotype up people's noses when they get on to ride that ride around me.

Really though, I like my hair blonde, but I am not sure if I am up to the work. With my hair as is...... I can actually go three months without the henna, and you can't tell, where if I were to go 6 weeks without a root bleaching..... AAAAAARRRRR!! Can you say "cheap, crack whore, hooker look"?

I am all about what ever the fuck licky suggested, but I can't have artificial dyes used on my head or I'll be fucked.

I think a couple of blond streaks may be cool, but who knows if I'll even go there.

Actually, the blond dye I was going to get is just Hydrogen peroxide based with no dyes. I am not sure that it would give me a reaction, but who is to say that it wasn't a major contributing factor all of those years.

I can get Mahogany henna. I use auburn and mahogany is a deeper, more purplish color that is very cool for this idea, I think, and then some blond for the other streaks. Show me a pic anyway.

okay babe.. go to this website, let the intro load, select 'Sue-lect style selector' and select the option for short hair/ any color/ straight.. go to page two and look at the second picture on the top row. It's a chick w/ dark and light streak... kind of a dark brown and light brown/blond combo.

it's looks good as long as all the tones match.. so like if you have an auburn base for your hair, use a light shade of auburn or blond for streaks... AND a darker shade of auburn (than what you already have) for a seperate set of streaks.

You don't want too many streaks or it'll look silly... just a few here and there. Geez, I wish I could do it for you.
