cantdog broke his arm today.

He's in pain but doing OK, looks like six weeks of casting and whatever other horrible things they do to you when you break your arm.

I doubt if he'll go for the pink and purple cast, however.

Is this a hospital epidemic? What a week!

it's 3 in the morning. sleeping is difficult. i keep waking up with the wing in the wrong place. then i tell myself, well, at least i got some sleep. then a look at the clock tells me it was less than an hour. again.

the p. a. tells me the first forty-eight hours are the most trying. unless i fuck it up somehow, there's a time limit on this shit. although she didn't put it quite in those words.

you know what's all of a sudden truly challenging? tying my shoes. i'll have to have other people tie my shoes. what shit!
