Things that piss you off?

I'm with you on that one Scaly.. We had that today but the weather people are saying the humidity and temps are going back up.

YUCK

And I'm actually doing well.

I'm fine Nightbird. I'd like to see the sun this weekend, temps in the high 70s and low humidity. Then I'd be doing great!

How about you?

And to top it off, I had to listen to poor quality classical music while I bent over. ;)
this sounds like there's more to be told here. :D

I bet they didn't even give you a reach around either huh?

My three alternate email addresses have stopped responding, and the only time I remember to ring them up to fix it is when I am online.

you may be onto something here. maybe Elvis, Bigfoot and the Loch Ness monster picked them all up in the UFO.

Then they took them to Jimmy Hoffa.

Aaarrrggghhh!!!!

County Child Support PISSES me off!!! Can anyone tell me why he owes me NINE MONTHS of arrears and because they took it out of his check, they say he's paid up...even tho NONE OF IT CAME TO ME!!!!!!! Child Support tells me they can't do anything about it cuz it came out of his check. Where the hell do I go from here???? F*****G GOVERNMENT OFFICES!!!

Aaack! The level of crud and grossitude (I know that's not a word :p ) in my new apartment really has pissed me off! The last few days, I've been de-grunging, de-crudding, and de-ickifiying everything...Lysol is my new best friend...the 12 pairs of rubber gloves I've gone through have been my savior.

I left my apartment as spotless as it could possibly be when I moved out. Perhaps you wouldn't want to eat off the floors, but you wouldn't get any cooties if you did. Not a single LadyJeanne hair or Sophie-kitty hair would be found. The stove looked like I'd never used it. The fridge was ready for fresh milk and eggs. The bathroom just needed some towels and shampoo - I even left a fresh roll of tp. Granted, I wasn't expecting to find that level of clean in my new place, but jeez-louise, there's nothing more disgusting than cleaning other people's food cooties out of the fridge, stove, and microwave....I can't even speak of the bathroom.

I have cursed the previous tenant to his dying day. If my curses takes effect, in return for all the hair he left in the apartment, he will be as bald as the day he was born for the rest of his life!

i remember my very first apartment. my friend at the time (who was my roommate in this venture) had his mother come along with us when we first went to see it. she was in real estate and we were relatively young and naive. the place was nice but needed a few things done... things we wouldn't have really cared about. she put her foot down and TOLD them that before we signed any lease, they were going to do "X" and "Y" and that's all there was to it.

I've already complained to my landlord - HE is supposed to make sure the place is clean and hire someone to clean it if it isn't. That's what security deposits are for, right? He's going to deduct some cash from my rent, so I don't feel as bad, and he did have painters come in and paint the whole place. It's a great apartment otherwise.

And Scaly, he's an army reserve dude, so the posse better have weapons... :D

i hope they waxed the walls first... it'd be rather disgusting to just paint over all that hair. who wants shag walls?

LOL!

Actually, they did a great job with the painting, and I haven't even seen any drips or spots or anything on the walls or floors. They must have cleaned the walls because there is no hair painted over - ick. The nice part is all the windows are new, insulated, and they haven't been painted shut!!!

didn't some nutso designer on trading spaces do something similar to that? maybe it was with straw

I remember they did a grass bench...the top of the bench where you sit was actually sod.

Hmmmm. I'm willing to bet he got is entire security deposit back despite the condition in which he left it.

I'll give my friend Clint a call and see what we can do about a posse.

I thought the army taught you to clean up after yourself, spit and polish and all that, huh.
