Congrats. Not sure why LOL. Made me go look at the 4 I've got posted so far that I've had time to submit and 2 of mine have an H as well. What does that mean?? ROFL. From your response above I am assuming that is a good thing???Vixandra said:

My daughter called today and told me she will be moving home with me this summer.
She just graduated from college last week and found out she can student teach near here.
She has a lot of "stuff" and I'm not sure how it will all fit... lol but having her home with me will be wonderful. I love her so much.

The red "H" markers indicate that a story has received a high average vote. I think you have to have an average of more than 4.50 (on a scale of five) and have at least ten votes to receive an "H" still.
The "H" stands for "Hot", I believe. Two other symbols also exist, an "E" and a "W". The "E" indicates that it has been chosen as high quality by the people who run the site and approve the stories, and the "W" means that it won one of the contests.
You should be proud that two of your stories have "H" markings! Congratulations.

You're quite welcome, Goddess. I did some time as a volunteer editor here, and got to know the story acceptance and rating system quite well.
And yes, it is a lovely site, and one of my favourites. It has so many different faces ... Some come here only to read, others to share their writing and submissions, and still others mainly to chat and connect on the forums. And many of those forums have developed into lovely communities. I hope you'll enjoy your time here as much as I have.

Congrats shy!! HAve to say one thing which made me happy was seeing in a local shop decorations for the top of wedding cakes and instead of the standard white bride and groom they had mixed race couples, and also gay couples...nice to see.

LOL, all this talk of H's made me go check ours...haven't been there for a long while but found we have 9!! It is a nice feeling, though I enjoy the comments and feedback more as they help let me know what is working for eople and what may not be. I still tend to write more for myself, but it does help improve writing.

I have been curious enough to look at all the H's and read some of the stories, they are great

We had some good news today
Master Gil had a follow-up appointment with His cardiologist and has now been given the all clear to go on the transplant list for a new kidney. There will probably be quite a wait (average wait is three years!) but it is a chance at a better quality of life for us both.
This is the best news we've had for ages

That certainly is great news....lets hope he is fortunate and doesn't have to wait quite so long. Perhaps if we get the Lit Positive Vibe going it will work in your favour and bring about some miracles.
