For me, it has always been tests...tests of all kinds. Today, for example, I had to take a typing speed test...I have been typing 8 hours a day on a fulltime basis since last July so I know that my typing speed is well in excess of 60 wpm. BUT the test I took only scored me at 56 wpm with 3 errors which means that the final total was 53 wpm...that just sucks! Oh well...I have the weekend to practice and then I have another hospital to try the same thing at on Monday.

What intimidates you?

Women.
Decisions.
Big Tough Guys.
Women.

That sums it up. Oh, wait, Girls. ;)

Actually nothing intimidates me..and thats the truth. Course, I'm a little bit...ummmm...self confident.

BTW...next hospital you go to take the other hand out of your pants and use them both. I'll bet you break 100!!!!

I'm with STG - beautiful women intimidate me

Those and crazed dogs - not much else.

Any cures around?

posting. i know it sounds dumb and i don't mind things like public speaking or tests...but there's something about sitting alone in my apartment, looking at something i just wrote and only having myself to say, "does that sound as dumb as it looks?"

i'll be having one of those moments in about four minutes...

Hmm, public speaking in front of strangers.

Calling anyone that I don't know very well.

crying

For me . . . it is women who cry. I can't tell them to knock it off or shut up because that is wrong but I feel intimidated since there is little I can do but hold them unless they are someone I barely know!

I was attacked by a dog whie walking down a street when I was a teenager, so I always have a small fear when a dog comes up to me that I don't know.

Otherwise I kind of live with the saying... Feel the fear, do it anyway... if there is something I wanna do :)

If only I could surround myself with beautiful women.

Wait a minute......

That's why I'm here at Lit! I'll be cured soon:D

Thanks STG

People who have any power over me and talking on the phone.

Yeah, Right.

I can see some of what you say but it depends on who has the power over you and how it is used.

For example #1. My ex. He controls all of the money. I have none. I had to ask him for a gallon of milk today (which he never got me) and that intimidated me.

For example #2. I cannot stand having to call anyone. Period.

taxes don't just intimidate me, they scare the crap out of me!

professor intimidate me sometimes. and pushy sales people. i run away from people in department stores who offer to help me.

The very idea of cold calling scares the hell out of me.

I worked for six months doing phone surveys for a while to try and get over it, but it still scares me. I just don't like the phone.

I'm intimidated by snobby rich people, chat rooms, and............... SUV's!

:D
