I was just told that I looked "cute like a teddy bear". What the fuck is that supposed to mean?!

I hate also when people I'm not close to go "Oh, did you lose weight?". They mean it as a compliment, but it's insulitng to me. Yes, I know I could lose 10 pounds and look better, but I don't need acquaintances telling me that.

What has been said to you that was meant as a compliment, but pissed you off?

"You are hung like a horse." I know it is meant in a nice way, but was I the one to choose the monster cock for myself? No. Talk to GOD about that. Sure it is big. Kinda scary for some women if I don't drop warnings before the moment of truth. Just don't hate me because I have a huge unit.

"You've such a pretty face!"

ugh. Make me more insecure, whydontcha?

OMG I was just gonna say that!!!!

It is like they are saying well sure you have a cute face but your a heifer!

"Oh, you are so SWEET! You are such a SWEET guy!"

"Sweet" means that girls feel free to dump their emotional traumas in your lap but won't date or sleep with you under any circumstances.

"Sweet" guys are the ones girls bitch to because they can't find any good men out there.

Think I'm bitter? Nah...

There's someone here that lately says I'm cute, when I do that thing it's cute, ah that is just too cute...

Cute is for puppy dogs.

*Edited to add* The person that says it, knows I adore him. I think he just says it to tease me.

"Wow, you're pretty AND smart", said in a tone of voice that would seem to indicate that I have somehow pulled off an amazing feat by managing to be both simultaneously. Cuz, you know, most chicks are just one or the other, apparently.

In my opinion, a compliment is a compliment. Compliments are given for good reasons, not to piss you off or to offend you. If you take offense to a compliment simply because you didn't like the way someone phrased it, or felt that they meant something other than meaning well, then hey... that's your loss.

I consider any compliment to be a gift. Nobody is required to tell you you're "sweet" "cute" or look slimmer than normal. Comments like those are said from the person's heart and the intent is to make the person feel good.

I can't imagine bitching about any compliment.

"You're so hot- why don't you have a boyfriend?" Like, all attractive women should have a boyfriend? I fucking need one just because I'm attractive? Like there must be something wrong with me because I'm single?

The ones that bother me the most are the back-handed compliments. Obviously you've never gotten one if you can'timagine bitching about them.

What about? "You intimidate me, you know that?"

hate it when that happens. bastards.

Damn, you ladies have just taken 90% of my pick-up line and shredded them to tiny, teeny pieces, tossed them to the floor and spat on them. You you ladies keep this up, I'll have to rely on my charm to attract all of you...

...well there goes my sex life

Along with many other, I also hate the word "cute" being used to describe me. I look young for my age, so its kind of an insecurity thing I guess. Another great one is "I thought you were one of the students." Sure, 10 or 15 years from now, I might like that, but not now. I guess its not that I am complaining about the compliments of any sort as much as I have gotten sick of hearing certain phrases.

LMAO -that was meant as a compliment?

I wasn't insulted by it- just perplexed. That has been to me and about me several times, and I'm still trying to figure out why.
