Things not to do in Georgia...

Ahhhh... Monday morning.

One of my carpenters came to me this morning and said he may be out for a few days. It seems his younger brother has been arrested in Georgia. Apparently his brother, John, (names changed to protect the stupid) is a bit of a wanderer and recently went down south because he wanted a change and because he thought the south was cool.

It should also be noted that he is very fond of both the Good Lords Brew and the Silly Weed. The combination of the two has killed off an alarmingly high percentage of his brain cells.

It seems that on his way thru Gerogia he was pulled over by a County Sheirff for excessive speeding (whatever that means). Well at some point the office became annoyed with John and said something along the lines of,

"You Yankees think you can just go tearing through Georgia any way you want?"

To which John apparently replied,

"Well, Sherman did it."

The food in the county lock-up is quite good according to John.

LOL.....here's a hint. If you get stopped by a Sheriff's deputy instead of a police officer, who better be white, have a heavy southern draw, and a local county sticker on your plate.

If it was a police officer, he might have gotten a chuckle and three or four tickets for being a smart ass. Chances are the police officer would have been from somewhere up north.

I doubt if you would find a Sheriff that wasn't born and raised in the county where he works.

Today? Nothin'. I've cooked the last three days, so not going near the stove today.

But, I have loads and loads of really good leftovers.....
