Things about China

The past few days saw the medical assistance teams in Wuhan city and Hubei province from other parts of China withdrew one after another after completing their duties and shut the makeshift hospitals. The fight against COVID-19 in China has secured the stage victory under the strong and concerted leadership of the central and local governments. The teams received the highest respect by local people and police force along the way from the hotels they had stayed in to the airport.

It looks like the whole game of battling COVID-19 has ended its first half which took place in China and the second half is now under way around the world outside China.

As human beings or as a community of shared future, China and the rest of the world cannot stay strong and safe independently so it is necessary for China to unite with their peers. Other countries especially those poor ones or the ones who are not so friendly do not just ask for direct aids from China and they should learn the good and practical experience of China in fighting the epidemic. All of the countries should drop the ideological matters for a while.

Gods all over the world, united and God bless the world.

Hei, look who's back!:)
Sorry, I missed your previous post must have been quickly muted on page 2.

I agree with most of what you said, But for the word 'central' government.

Yes, on one hand the government did a good job AFTER december 30, but that was merely because they got their act together and listened to their expert advisers.
The victory speaks about the high quality of your scientific community & resolutness of people, if any.

But prior to December 30? Silencing whistleblowers, and hiding it from both Chinese laypeople and the rest of the world?
They have blood on their hands. Both you guys, and the rest of the world.

But now it is not the right time to cry over the spilt milk. What really happened before or after a certain date is difficult to be confirmed or proven because there are so many rumors and many judgments made from personal or selfish points of view. Things done cannot be undone. That you call the virus Covid-19 or Wuhan disease or Hong Kong feet or mad cow problem or whatever you like doesn't offer any physical help at all at the moment.

Our vision should be focused on the future and our thought should be placed on how to control the deteriorating situation across the world, especially in Europe. If the people or governments only want to find out who did it or who should be responsible for the issue and try to get even in words or in kind, the world will be again thrown in bigger troubles. During the 1931-1945 anti-Japanese war, China's two major warring parties, i.e., KMT and Communist Party, even came to table for peaceful talks then for joint efforts to fight the aggressor. Considering Trump administration even holds talks with North Korea or even Taliban, why is it so big a deal to ask for help from China? Losing face is better than losing lives, right?

Have the split pants for children been mentioned yet?

I watched one little darling take a dump on the path
at the Temple of Heaven...

People just spit wherever and covering your mouth
when sneezing or coughing is just not done.
Plus, they publicly pick their noses and
wipe and fling their snot wherever...

Mao was in life and is in death, the biggest mass murderer in history.

You're writing from China, so if you say "I agree, our government sucks!" they might invite you in for a 'friendly chat.' ;), just like the whistleblower doctor or journalists who 'disappeared'.
So I won't hassle you on that.

But you're right, no point on crying over spoilt milk, to be constructive one needs to learn from how they controlled the outbreak once they acknowledged it.

Actually, Australian health professionals are now urging the government to copy China's and Korea's approach, as opposed to listening to local or WHO's
advice:

The letter from Australian doctors (joint initiative of GP's, EM and intensive care physicians) is still online open to signatures, so it will probably be delivered to the parliament mid to end of the week.

But the New Zealand open letter has been taken offline & it will be delivered to their Parliament TODAY.

So eyes on NZ today, world.
If Jacinda Arden listens to them and initiates total lockdown, Scott Morrison might follow, and probably other countries too.

Hei gnxx, can you describe to us what exactly did the Wuhan & lockdown entail?

NSW and Victoria are going in "lockdown" on tuesday, aka shutting down 'non-essential services'.
"But supermarkets, petrol stations, convenience stores, freight and logistics, and home deliveeies will be among the many services that will remain open."

That doesn't look as thorough as the one imposed in Wuhan.

Chinese vaginas are regular shaped not slanted sideways like there eyes.

Chinese vaginas are regular shaped not slanted sideways like there eyes.

This should be their eyes, NOT there. There is a place, their is ownership, KNOW the difference before you state something that is so stupid on this thread about the COVID 19 virus.

Why did you post this here, it has NOTHING to do with the virus or the controlling of it?

from Webster's Dictionary:

their: of or relating to them or themselves as possessors

there: in or at that place, at that point

A matter can always be analyzed on the basis of SWOT. There are often many shortcomings of the one party rule in a country, but when it comes to handle nationwide emergency, Singapore, DPRK and China are alike and more effective than many other countries. It takes too long for them to make a decision or reach a concensus.

In Wuhan as well as in other cities or rural areas in China, officials no matter big or small are required to put prevention of virus spread the priority on agenda, volunteers are arranged to help buy daily consumer goods for residents who are locked down in their residential quarter. Even now in the city where I live, even we do not have any confirmed cases for nearly one month, we are still asked to wear masks when entering public places, but there are people who are relaxing when implementing the regulation, that is the characterisitcs of China and of the human nature. A Chinese saying goes, whatever policy you have up above, we always have its countermeasure down below. A problem will not be a problem until it becomes a big trouble. If there were no deaths in Italy nobody would care.

The black chief of WHO is not qualified for his post in the opinion of many Chinese people, though he has got a Chinese name in the local news reports which hinted he might have studied his trade in a China-based medical college.

They still have holes in the floor
where you are supposed to squat
and do your business.

Cleanliness is not their go-to move.

Squatting is easier, faster, cleaner, and healthier than sitting on chair toilets. Keeping that knee flexibility is an advantage, especially for pregnant women. Birthing on beds causes many complications, sometimes fatalities.

China is a former colony becoming an empire, with a rapid transition from poverty to wealth and power.

Wait wait and wait

Although I am a Chinese now staying in China, the information I get is no more than you staying outside China, because I am not a reporter doing interviews here and there, I received or read news from Internet or WeChat, our social media on smart phone. Perhaps you even know more about China than me.

One thing is for sure, when I go out of my home, I wear a face mask, which has been used many times. I think it s better to wear it than have my face exposed. If you believe you are physically strong and you will not get infected, then you can do so. One has to live with faith of some sort.

Now imported cases are on the rise in China. Beijing has banned direct flights from outside China, all of these flights have to stop first in 20 airports around Beijing for inspection according to their incoming directions. Some of the many returned Chinese students or foreign nationals of Chinese origins are unsatisfied by the slow and long waiting and post unwise words and biased picutres in social media, and they are placed under heavy fire by a large number of domestic netizens who call them traitors that do not deserve respect.

The thing is there are too many children or family members of rich people or high officials of China who have become the citizens of other countries, and they have taken away a large amout of wealth or resources that belong to China, and when they have problems they return their old home for help, that is very unacceptable to many grassroot people, many of whom suffer huge financial, physical or job loss during the epidemic and stay-home order since Jan 25.

An executive sex abused his 14-y-o adopted daughter

Even amid the pandemic, there is something catching people's attention, like the basketball star killed in the Californian helicopter crash and a Chinese Super League footballer who received expel from the club for tampering with his car plate to avoid the gov-imposed traffic ban.

But here is one named Bao Yuming, an executive of listed company based in Shandong province of China, and a lawyer who gets licenses in both China and America. He also serves as guest professor for a number of colleges. His 14-y-o adopted daughter posted on social media his incest and violent sex act on her and sought help from the public.

Chinese netizens were infuriated, espeically at a time when the incident of South Korea was exposed, where at least one million males registered to a website known as "Room No. N" to watch the pervert forced sexual performance of children or young girls.

But this Mr Bao, who practices law, knows well how to get around the regulations. Perhaps we will not win over him in papers or in court, some violent tit-for-tat action might be taken on him from the folk warriors (daxia) of the society.
