Ladies, thigh highs or gartered stockings?

I haven’t had much luck with thigh highs. They seem to always want to creep down and I constantly have to pull them back up. Too, at least the ones I’ve tried, the elastic around the top only lasts for one or two wearings. I end up throwing them away because the elastic top is gone, not because I got a runner.

I prefer the gartered stocking for several reasons. I think garter belts are sexy. Knowing I’m wearing a pretty garter belt with matching bra and panties can help me feel feminine and sexy. The effect it has on my bf is another big plus.
With the gartered stockings I can indulge in the vintage flat knit styles. I love the texture of the flat knit styles over what’s available today. They’re definitely a higher quality.

I'm a girl, but I do like wearing both. I think they both have a very nice fit (and if yr thigh highs aren't fitting, maybe go down a size?).

I will admit that garters have a particular aesthetic, so if I'm trying to dress up like, or feel like a very sexy woman going into the office, then I wear garters, whereas thigh highs feel a little bit younger (I'm thinking like a schoolgirl).

But both are sooo sexy.

I've never tried garters before, but I love thigh high stockings. They look great, and they make me feel cute and sexy. <3

Unfortunately, I get runs in them rather easily. Are the flat knit stockings more "durable?"

My wife likes to wear both. I remember when we first started going out all those years ago. At the time, tights (pantyhose) were the main fashion for women but I remember getting extremely turned on when, as we were fondling on the settee I could feel the suspender straps through her thin skirt and slip. When I pointed out how stockings made me feel she told me she didn't like wearing tights because they gave her a rash...and with that we went upstairs to the bedroom. It was great laying her on the bed and sliding my hands up her nylon legs to the stocking tops. The rest, as they say, is history.

These days she tends to wear thigh highs. She has taken to going to the gym to keep the fitness levels up and she finds the thigh highs stay up a lot better on toned legs. Every now and again she will wear a suspender belt when I buy her more traditional stockings for a birthday or xmas. She always wears thigh highs or stockings and suspender belt for sex. She likes me to choose them and put them out on the bed for her with any other items of clothing that I want her to wear.

I'll do thigh high socks once in a great while. But for something formal it's the garter and stockings. Also if it's in front of a sub it makes it more "showy."

I like my thigh highs, might seem a little childish and all but they give me more of a school girl naughty feeling.
It's one of those things that you have a certain dress code, but you alter it or find a loop hole than you find sexy and can permeate the sexiness. Thigh highs are like that to me.
To be fair, I haven't worn garter belts, though I do want to try. I've never found any in my size, considering my childlike body. do you think I will have to order them online?

Anyways... Am I the only one that really likes pantyhose ... and have fantasies of having them ripped off? xx

No preference as both thigh highs and suspenders have there place. The absolute sexiness of a woman wearing a nice blouse with a short pleated skirt and catching a glimpse of the tops of her thigh highs when she is walking down the street or as she is sitting down is an incredible turn on. Also makes access for those lunch time quickies real easy.

The suspenders and garters I usually associate with a more formal occasion. Dinner out fancy resteraunt and having the imagination tantilized by seeing a faint outline of suspender clips under her form-fitting backless dress not knowing if she has followed suit with the no bra theme until the dress comes off then the fun begins while the suspenders and stockings stay on.......
