Okay so down here in Florida we're watching Hurricane Hannah. Right now it looks like it's going to give us the slip and head north. (I'm not complaining mind you.)

Now we also have Tropical Storm Ike cruising along out there and forecast to turn into a Hurricane within the next couple of days. His five day track has him heading straight for us, then who the hell knows?

You know, not too long ago I saw a program talking about what would happen if a major Hurricane hit Miami. (Total devestation) Is Mamma Nature tryng to prove the validity of this program?

In a word? Yes! :D
I hope Hannah gets to NC as a nice tropical storm. We need another 3.5 inches to go with Fay's 7 to end the drought. :D
Any dent in last years -12 is a bonus :D

Gustave to the left of me, Hanna to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle with Ike...

I'm glad someone else remembered.

I love 70's music. :D

Hanna seems to be the loose cannon as far as us coastal Floridian's are concerned. They don't know where the hell it's going. :(

It's just a Cat. 1 with not much intensity yet.

Ike 'pears to be headed for Cuba and the Caribbian.

Gus is ashore and makin' rain.

Just another Summer in Florida.

Well damn. T.S. Hannah followed by T.S. Ike now followed by T.S. Josephine.

Josephine looks to have potential, spilt out of Africa at the weekend, flirted with Cape Verde and can't decide which way to head next  It's slightly south of Hannah and Ike.

The long term residents of Florida and the Caribbean used this rhyme to anticipate storms:

June too soon

July stand by

August come they must

September remember

October all over

We'll see if this holds true in '08. ;)
