It's sad to say, but an event like this has a unifying effect on our country. Regardless of their race, religion, or party affiliation, Americans have always had a "don't mess with us" attitude. The terrorists have underestimated our resolve just like Japan did when they attacked us, and they will meet a similar end. I don't agree that we can't rid the world of Palestinian murderers. We will do just that, and scare the shit out of anyone else who dreams of martyrdom. We won't make the same mistake we made in the Gulf War when we didn't rid the earth of the real problem.
