Do you know what? They have drilled that into our heads for just about twelve months, now. They have covered every angle, tried to give us every mangled peice of information possible that no one could possibily remember it all.

I think, on 9/11, I'll try my best to live as if it was the same as any other day. It might piss you off and you might think to yourself "Black Bird! How could you be so insensitive?" but that doesn't even compare with how pissed off the terrorist would be if we *all* just pretended it was the same as any other day.

Well, naturally. The terrorists are doing what they do basically for the sake of attention, and ignoring them actually has the benefit of making us look more brave and tragic and all that.

Heh. I don't think many people have seen this.

I'm a twisted evil little fuck, aren't I?

I kind of tend to agree. Don't get me wrong, I feel bad about all those lives lost. However, emotionally I don't care to relive that day...nor do I want to spend the day reflecting on it. I will say a prayer for the families of those lost, but I don't think that I will be watching any television that day.

Yes, 9/11 was a very tragic day. I'm very sorry for all the lives that were lost, but, I aggree, they over do the coverage of these stories. They have a victems mothers-third-cousin-4times-removed-by-mariage on Oprah. They are over doing this the way the overdid Princess Di's death. Let life go on. The faster people can move on, the better they may feel.

I'm not doing anything special. I'll wake up, thank god I didn't loose anyone close to me, pray for those who did and go about my day as usual.

BUT, I think there's a line between being brave and failing to honor the dead and their families.

I've got government class that day.

I'm bringing a lighter with me.

it will be an emotional day across the country and as much as i want to not think of it i will and will hold my breathe that there never is a repeat of anything so disasterious, tension is already building up in afganistan i see with bombings they claim will be more building up to anniversary of 9/11, i just hope and pray all this ends soon

I think one day out of the last 365 wouldn't hurt, especially concidering the way we have collectively beat the issue into the ground.
