...you can read about what a joke it actually was, here:

The last few paragraphs reveal what the first woman to score in D1 football thought about Silberman's sorry attempt...

...the good news is that this debut was so embarrassing that the next lady (or ladies) who step up will be very mindful of that fact.

More pictures of the Lauren Silberman experience reside near the bottom of the linked page.

... and you've tried out for how many NFL teams?

At least she has a biological excuse for being dickless.

She was my favorite kicker:

Waits to see if younglings get it.

"The distance wasn't there, but hopefully the scouts will notice my technique. It's not always length."

I can't say I haven't tried that same lie a time or two.

I can read any of your posts and read about what a joke it is. ...actually.

You're like an anorexic pigeon with weak squirts:

You fly in, bend slightly forward, and try to take a dump...

...but hardly anything comes out except the little dribble which runs down your own legs.

There is no shame in trying.

I post on a football-oriented site, and I was really surprised how MAD people were about this woman, like it was personally offensive to them that this was even being allowed. I never believed she had a chance in hell, but who was being harmed by this publicity stunt?

Not naming names, but it's pretty obvious that certain folks were sensing a threat to their precious masculinity. This arises in posts about all sorts of things, of course, not just football.

I understand you're so insecure about your own masculinity that your ego must constantly project that failing outwardly toward someone else...

...so, let me help you with that and provide you with something that's "pretty obvious" you relate to best: a woman's point of view.

By that time, there was one seriously disheartened woman.

And it wasn't Silberman. It was Katie Hnida, a former kicker for Colorado and New Mexico who was the first female to score in a Division I game.

"It is disappointing," Hnida told USA TODAY Sports after watching a video of Silberman's failed attempts. "I hoped she would go out and do justice for an NFL tryout, because there are lots of people who have dreamed of going to the NFL. It should be something serious."

Hnida received lots of supportive tweets before Sunday from those who mistook her for Silberman.

"There is no way I would ever do that unless I was in the absolute best shape of my life and could really compete with these guys," Hnida said. "These guys are good. This is not a joke. It didn't appear she was mentally or physically prepped for an elite-athlete tryout."

Now, karnackless...

...does your emasculated ego also "sense" Hnida's "precious" femininity is threatened?

Great Ploy

Most likely there is some gal out in the middle of nowhere.ville kicking the daylights out of everything in her path after watching what I saw of it.

Nice. Totally suck and bring out all those who can surpass you.

The woman was there to promote herself. That's it. She had no intention of ever seriously trying to be a kicker.
It was insulting to all women athletes and I hope they find her.

Yeah, soccer is not really a sport.

Read above dickbrain. It was a horribly-conceived publicity stunt.

Much like your first attempt at public masturbation.

So what you were actually attempting to say is that there is no shame in a horribly-conceived publicity stunt?

I beg to differ.

It is doubly embarrassing that way. First, it is an embarrassment to athletes, second it is an embarrassment to publicity flacks.

Anything that poorly done is an embarrassment.

Such as your style of debate.

The difference between doers and triers...

9-year old Sam Gordon was the cream of the crop of the Salt Lake City Ute Conference Youth Football League last season; check out her highlights in the video I linked to here:

Meanwhile, the first woman to tryout for the NFL is continually getting blasted; check out the latest from an nfl.com and NFL Network reporter here:

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...stages-pointless-sideshow-at-regional-combine

Lauren Silberman had to pay $275 out of her own pocket to make a fool of herself.

Meanwhile, Sweet Feet Gordon was a guest of the NFL at last month's Super Bowl, and although she (or another female just as talented) will never have the opportunity to be the first of her gender to try out for the NFL after Silberman spoiled that fete...

...no other will be able to say they were the first female football player on a box of Wheaties:
