I spent Valentine's day babysitting my 1 yr old nephew. An absolute bundle of energy that won't even stop to eat. (ok, ok, unless it's chocolate milk) I'm exhausted, covered in the various foods I attempted to shove in his face (which he promptly spit back out at me, laughing)

Just about the time that I was ready to scream in frustration that the little booger would not tire out and take his nap, he held up his arms and crawled into my lap.

The next half hour or so was spent with him smiling and talking at me, listening to me sing songs and reading his books.

So, that was my Valentine this year - my little baby nephew:) (even if he did nearly poke my eye out with his football...)

celiaKitten, that was beautiful! You may not realize it now but this may have been the most special Valentine's day that you will ever spend and for your baby nephew also. Do not think that they forget the time an adult shares with them. It sounds like a marvelous day and I envy you.

that sounds like fun.

I slept today :)
but did have an incounter with a baby too as she decided tickleing my foot is better to do then play with her toys.

enjoy your nephew you love him he loves you.
