Some of you folks need to lighten up. You need to take a step back and think about what you're about to type before you do it. I've never seen that more necessary than when you're posting to someone else's personal ad merely to comment.

I've seen more insults and degradations that were totally unwarranted in the personals section than I've seen in any other part of this board. Someone jumps on there and posts that they're looking for something, and then everyone and their sister decides to tell them they're wrong for wanting it.

Seriously, you need to shut the fuck up and mind your own goddam business. Just because you can read it doesn't mean you should necessarily respond to it.

This may not be any of my business...but you don't read the GB much do you? I have met so many nice people here in the playground and not so many nice people on the GB. If you really mean the Personals...then why not post this there rather than the Playground?

Because this forum is for off-topic stuff in regards to the personals. Rather, that's the impression I've gotten, since this is a sub-forum for the Personals and in the header it says "If you want to talk about personals, instead of posting a personal ad, please do it here!"

Am I wrong in assuming that means to post off-topic things about the personals here in the Playground?

I do read the General Board. While there is a great deal of hateful shit spewed on that board, it's not quite the same as someone jumping down another person's throat on a personals board because they didn't like what the other person wanted.

I guess you're right. I forgot about how they move stuff that aren't ads away from the ads. This is a good place to put it,I guess,but I have found that most of the people here are generally more tolerant of off beat stuff than the GB is.
I don't read too many of the personals because I'm not looking. Sorry if I came off sounding like a bitch,I didn't mean to.

No worries. Obviously the original post wasn't directed toward you anyways. But I'm glad you asked--helped clear up any doubt in my mind that this belongs in this forum and not in the actual Personals forum.

It is refreshing to hear you say that Stormfang. I so agree with you and for someone to have to lash out at someone else because of their wants or beliefs is wrong. This is suppose to be a public forum where you can say what you need to and not hear repercussions.

I happen to agree with you Stormfang. What I will do is to post to the people that post ads on the Personals from Ohio that they should check out the Ohio threads on the Playground. Or maybe for the BD/SM ads gently point them to that board in hopes that they find what they are looking for. I usually do anything more than that by pm and it is not to jump on anyone just a lead in the right direction. At least I hope that they take it that way.
