No, it's my understanding that he got stabbed repeatedly--very repeatedly--with a sharpened toothbrush. Someone not only wanted him dead, they wanted him really dead and they wanted to take a while with the process.

I was sorry his father, Lionel, wasn't also imprisoned. He was the bizarre fundamentalist who beat the shit out Jeffrey regularly for everything, including Jeffrey's homosexual tendencies. He's never taken responsibilty for it; it was a all "a demon" that got into Jeffrey. I hope he burns in his own hell.
