There is now a sort of state-Islamist territorial bloc

Encompassing Iran and neighboring Afghanistan. Can that amount to anything, or will the Sunni-Shi'a split prevent them from working together for any common cause?

It's odd there still is a Sunni-Shi'a split, since the original issue of the schism was who should be Caliph, and nobody claims the title any more. But apparently the two sects also developed differences in doctrine and practice.

I'm far more worried about American right wing extremist terrorists.

Exactly why we got the dumpster fire in Afghanistan, the Left's mindless pursuit of domestic enemies while ignoring enemies abroad. Even Thoroughly Modern Millie is afraid of "white rage" more than the Talibs, and now the Talibs have his fat ass over a barrel.

No, that dumpster for us due to the US going after terrorists in their own countries and Trump signing an agreement to withdraw from Afghanistan. It would have been even worse had Biden not evened the deadline.

And it wasn't Islamic terrorists who stormed our Capitol, it was treasonous right wing terrorists.

There are splits even within the ranks of the Taliban in Afghanistan, so the inability to unify is going to just keep spinning in the region.

Funny, no one was charged with sedition, much less treason. It was just a protest that got a little out of hand. No big deal.

Like I said, expect more Afghanistans the more you compulsive masturbators focus on your ideological foes instead of actual enemies.

And just like that, the American public proves me right: Joe now at 41% approval, 55% disapproval:

Your attempts to minimize the insurrection of 1/6 are pathetic. And it won't work.

Right wing extremists who try and prevent the peaceful transition of power in this country, one of our most important and sacred traditions, are my enemy.

It wasn't an "insurrection," as even the government admits now, with 90-95% of the people entered the Capitol just snapping selfies and shouting. That's why the charges being brought are so Mickey-Mouse...there's no there there.

Keep trying to inflate it into something, we all see it was nothing.

Geez, havent they banned you yet?

Let me ask you this, Ramone45 (or whatever your calling yourself this time) if a bunch of Antifa guys had rioted at the capital, in the unlikely event Trump had actually won the election, would it have been an insurrection then? Of course, because it's only NOT an insurrection if you and your goose-stepping jackboots storm the capital. Then it's "Patriotism." Just like Tim McVeigh was a "Patriot" and his criminal act in Oklahoma City was "Just lighting off some big fireworks."

God, you make me fucking SICK.

I go away for three weeks and nothing has changed, the idiots are still in charge here.

as even the government admits now,

Cite, please (or don't assert it).

The process of investigation of this isn't over, buddy. Trump attempted a coup right out in the open. I can't say whether he will continue to be above the law or if he and his coconspirators will be prosecuted for it, but I know what a coup is and I saw him attempt it. I also know the process isn't over. You show your panic by pretending that it is.

No, you're the one's that are pathetic now. Even the FBI says, "Nope, no sedition here." Charges being dropped faster than the proverbial hot potato or reduced to 'hand slap' fines.

The FBI doesn't want any of those people going to court with competent attorneys that will file for 'discovery.' They're learning their lesson on that with the Whitmer "kidnapping" fiasco.

Right wing extremists, trumptards and qanon pose more of a threat than the taliban do. There needs to be a task force to eliminate them.

Can't possibly be insurrectionists....because they were overwhelmingly white.

Of course, the most important Islamist state is Saudi Arabia. Also the most important sponsor of terrorism, homeland of OBL, and let's not get started on Yemen.

Why is it, again, that the U.S. is allied with SA, but not with Iran?
