When you read the papers or watch the news on TV, you often come across the term "Islamic Terrorism". I think this is not fair to the Muslims in general. Adolf Hitler killed 6 million people. Did anybody call him a Christian terrorist?

This racial profiling is bad. Visitors to the USA who bear Muslim names or look Middle Eastern have been discriminated against.

What happens to LOVE in the other religions?

Just a guess. but these terrorist claim they are killing others under religion. I'm not being sarcastic, it's just a guess

What are we supposed to call terrorists who kill people in the name of Islam?

Misguided?

psssst- people called Adolph Hitler a mass murderer, which is what he was.

Guess who's been to 'sensitivity class'?

Fundamentalist Islamic Terrorists...would be the correct term i think. (and by the way...Hitler did not expouse Christianity)

little secret.... he killed Jews, he was an atheist.

It's a halfway decent point, though, you must admit. What were the crusaders of the middle ages? Not much more than a fundamental christian mob, bent on bloodshed and distruction.

I think Islamic terrosts is an unfair term. The problem is what else do we call them. Anyway its unfair because if you think about what the religion stands for these terrorists are sure not remaining true to their religion. Just like those that took part in the witch burings and killed in the name of god were by no means a true Christian. Neither are moderen day groups that are all about the white mans domination.

Let's see. The Crusades, initiated by Pope Urban II, were in response to the Turks co-option of Islam and the murder of Christians making pilgramages to the Holy Land.

Call it an early form of Islamic terrorism if you will.

Yes, I quite see your point. It is patently unfair to call terrorists that are Islamic, "Islamic Terrorists".

Perhaps we should call them "Rag Head Terrorists", or maybe just a group of young people whose socio/economic status has caused them to rebel in an untoward manner.

Ishmael

Fanatics or extemists seems fitting it helps point out they are not main stream Islamic people. There will always be extreme people and its bad when they make a whole group look bad.

technically you can do anything you want in the name of anything you want. just becauses these fuckers do shit in th ename of islam, does not make them muslims. muslims follow the a way of peace not violence. but whatever.

True, but there were reasons the armies themselves went. The promise of getting right to heaven, the honor of dying in a battle to rid the holy land of invaders.

The reasons were as varied as the people that went. There are two "Official" versions of Urban's speech. Both are somewhat inflamatory, but both were written 25 years after the fact.

While his demonisation of the Muslims would be considered extreme in this day and age, his motives were indeed based in fact. And if you acknowledge the truth in the facts, then the ulterior motives of lesser men are incidental.

Didn't Richard come along about the third Crusade?

Could be. It's been a long time since I've read much on the crusades. It's never been my favorite period of history. Now Hannibal on the other hand.

I accept all your arguments. They give Islam a bad name.

How about the other two paragraphs?

"There is no such thing as Islamic Terrorists"

That will be a phrase that will be said a few years from now when we've hunted down those future corpses! :D

I missed those hippie peace loving time during the Vietnam War era. Now, everybody is thirsty for blood.

Don't get me wrong. I like America, but I am against senseless killings. I'm also against the Osama people and Sharon, the war criminal.

Peace, dudes.
