So I thought about re-booting an old pic thread,

Then I thought about making an alt for all my angry rants and dirty pics, but ultimately I just want to vent and fuss and share without all that much work.

So I am starting a new thread, one prompted by a search for validation, a desire to feel seen, and a way to work through some emotions that I don't have many other places to express.

I just keep thinking about all the work I put in to something to have it dissolve in my hands. I think about nights I stayed up late or days that I missed opportunities just so that I could be called a liar or be ghosted.

I kept reaching out but it felt like shouting in to the void.

So now I will shout here.

Maybe it wasn't meant to be. You may not realize it now but time will help you see it. The right thing will come along when it's time.

I appreciate the sentiment, but "meant" to be is as much a fairy take as frogs and mermaids and swords stuck in stones.

Relationships happen because of choices, they last because of our actions
