Themes beyond Erotica within an Erotic Story?

My Brigit stories have social injustice as a theme. Some of the other stories have significant undertones.

'Donna' is just plain angry.

I agree with Dr. M. Almost anything can be erotic, if only by implication.

i tend to forget about the erotic parts the more i get into a story i am writing, and suddenly find everything else a lot more important... sometimes i wonder if this is the right place for me...

Sure it is. What I like about lit is that it gives you a lot of freedome. In other places, you might have to be more mindful of sexual content. Here there are only a few rules and such a wide audience- from people who like serious and thought provoking to those who like pure mindless smut.

I am bumping this thread and then I should stop before I become annoying.

Why worry about that now?
These folks will let you know when you've achieved that goal.....

To the original inquiry about parallel themes or plots with or alongside the erotica; I say go for it, tell the story.........

Oh, I almost always try for am added theme beyond the erotica--unless I'm just doing a stroker.
