Theme AV of the Week?

I was just wondering...if we used spiders for a theme AV (it is that season), spider women, spider webs, sexy spiders...would the arachnophobes hunt us all down and kill us? Or just run screaming from the AH into the night?

Hey, I'm an arachnophobe myself and I don't mind seeing AV's of...well, spiderman...I just don't want to see any actual spiders. Hm. Maybe this isn't such a good idea....

Inspired by Selenakityn's adventures with Spider Wolf, the time of year, and this article:

No, no. That's not fair at all. The whole idea of theme AV week is that everyone gets to play...or enjoy the play.

So. Spiders are out. We should have a Pumpkin Carving contest sometime in the coming weeks (aka, pics of pumpkins carved, displayed, or otherwise eroticized). Do we want to do that this coming week or do we have other ideas for the first week of October?

Perhaps an Octoberfest theme?

Considering the spider on steriods we caught in the house last night I might have to go with turnig av's off for a bit just to be able to look at the screen! And yes I know very chicken of me but the damn things are getting bigger and freakier when they run across you hand.

I like the octoberfest theme. But im not remotely frightened of spiders. the only animal that really bother me are rats. In baltimore, we get rats that I believe firmly could carry off small children. Ive had two cats that got killed by rats. Maybe rats other places wouldnt bother me, but these bmore rats are ridiculous

It's also the season for falling leaves, stunning autumn colours, autumn fruits........plenty to choose from.

Shouldn't we save that for the final, October 31st week! Don't want to, er, shoot our wad all at once

How about this:

October 6-13: Angels/Devils (?)
October 13-20: Masked Ball: people wearing masks, or really cool masks (?)
October 20-31: Witching Hour: witches, wizards, ghosts, goblins, monsters, etc.--we stretch that week out and people can post different AV's with that theme over the 11 days of All Hollows celebrations (??)

Thoughts, idea, objections?
