That thread is a sticky, so it doesn't actually close. The nominations apparently haven't been posted yer. It should have been done in January and February, but it wasn't.

They are so far behind you will be lucky to see the voting for the 2012 awards sometime early in 2013.

There's always the current Halloween contest if you need to vote for something.

I think I saw something in the Contest forum about it, saying final voting would open October 1st. Considering it's the 5th and I don't even see nominations-yeah I would figure they are running behind.
