The worst story idea you can come up with.

Some girl with an all-over shaving fetish who time travels to a Nazi concentration camp just to experience that kink.
ok for a character, how about plot bunnies? Or did they all end up in the stew?
I wonder would the trip be one way and considered suicidal, or if not, how the return mechanism would be organized. On a preset timer? Implanted and/or tattooed device(s)?

... or what could come from finding nazi made human skin lampshade with a time machine control electronic tattoo on it...

For this site....a story of a woman who is not submissive, does not crave to be raped or gang banged, and is not a 'cheating whore' meets a guy who actually respects her, treats her like an equal, and is very good to her in every way, and they have amazing CONSENSUAL sex during which he even LETS her decide how they do it.

That would be the worst idea this forum full of misogynists and incels will have ever heard.
You may have left out, she doesn't have a pregnancy fetish and requires he wears three condoms. And DNA testing for four generations proving he isn't a blood relative.

I thought I knew something about World War II, but - the Nazis shaved a woman's body (assuming she wasn't sent directly to the gas chamber)? I wasn't even sure that they shaved their heads, but I'd have to check on that.

Anyway, truly a worst story idea. Anybody who would willingly go to a concentration camp in order to experience a sexual kink is almost by definition insane. There used to be an interest in Nazi porn in Israel, of all places, but that was purely a fantasy. I don't know if it was in vogue among actual camp survivors, however.

Story set in a mining colony. There will be lots of sex involving miners.
Good pun - miners and minors. Anyway, I thought mining colonies used to have bordellos. As for male and female miners working together, that has already been done in the 2005 movie North Country. The results were hardly erotic: "A fictionalized account of the first major successful sexual harassment case in the United States, Jenson vs. Eveleth Mines, where a woman who endured a range of abuse while working as a miner filed and won the landmark 1984 lawsuit."

I just hope the kink was torturing the Nazis....

God forgive me, but I've thought of a worst possible story idea based on Nazis. The concept is that somebody sets up a full-scale concentration camp (well, of course, it's nowhere near the size of the sprawling real ones) as a sort of for-profit version of the Stanford Prison Experiment. No one would actually die, starve, or even be seriously injured, but conditions would be relatively harsh by the standards of modern "vacations." (There might, for example, be Five AM roll calls or whatever they used to do.)

The point of this place is that it's a chance to indulge in some kinky sexual activities, many of which are versions of BDSM practices. It's an open question of whether these would be coordinated/staged by management, created ad hoc by the people there, or some combination of both.

[One of my inspirations is the movie Seven Beauties, which is generally a terrible film but it has an impact anyway. Part of the plot is about a young Italian inmate - he's not even Jewish, I believe - who has a rather "reluctant/coerced" relationship with an older female guard. And yeah, some of those real-life Nazi ladies were so bad that they were executed later for war crimes.]

So the "guards" in this are either employees or volunteers from among the paying customers. (Maybe people switch roles as they see fit.) It seems that this has to be a for-profit operation because of the costs involved. It's hard to imagine it being a purely volunteer/non-profit effort on par with the Burning Man festival or something similar.

I'm guessing that this would have to be in North America because it would be too traumatic for Europeans to endure. (But maybe I'm wrong.) So, is it is even remotely plausible that anyone would pay for this instead of going to Yellowstone or whatever? Anyway, I'm definitely not writing this myself. If someone else wants to try it, go ahead.

Thanks, Bubo, although my idea is not nearly as rough as the one in the novel. Although, I guess I feel a bit - relieved - that Amélie Nothomb came up with similar, although actually more horrific, idea. (My camp would have a considerable amount of playacting in it.) She seems like an interesting (?) woman to say the least.

I also noted that the Stanford Prison Experiment is referenced in the the article. I believe it was used as the subject of a couple of movies, including a gay porn film.

I like most of her work, and her novels have the enormous advantage of being rather short. But yeah, she's a bit weird.
I've got it on good record that at least some of her family consider her the weird/mad one of the family (she's from a fairly prominent family from the province of Luxembourg in Belgium. Her father was a diplomat and her uncle a prominent politician for a fairly long period).

She's seems pretty prolific. Do you know if she supports herself from her writing alone? Also, is any of her work available in English?

Since she's one of the better known authors in current French literature, I assume she does. Both she and her work have received honours in both Belgium and France.

Looking at her wikipedia page a fair number of her novels have been translated in English, but I can't say anything about their quality. I've only read her in French.

Well, I doubt I'm going to be learning French at this point in my life, so I have to be going with English if anything with her. Can I assume that you know Dutch too?

Anyway, you guys on this board have finally led me astray with the Nazi ladies idea and whatever evil things they did. I even did some research on them and they are at least as scary as the men. I'm becoming convinced that this fake concentration camp concept would actually bring in some paying customers for an "extreme vacation."

My mother tongue is Dutch (well Flemish, but yes). Though these days I live and breathe French much more.

Okay, obviously the Ku Klux Klan one. Is that set in a particular era, or maybe that's more detail than you had intended?
I did already far too much thinking on that particular scene than I'm entirely comfortable with. It's one of the most cringy things I've ever written (in the sense that I cringed at it writing it).

I don't know much about Belgium but I'm guessing that most people there are bi-lingual. Wasn't the country actually created during the Napoleonic era? (I know, I could look it up.) I know that they never completely surrendered to the Germans in Word War I and kept fighting through the entire four years. (I think I'm correct on that.)

Not exactly. Most will have some notions of the other language but chances are they're more proficient in English.

No. Created during the Belgian revolution (in 1830) though more or less a heritage of the Southern Netherlands being split off after the 80 years war in the 16th/17th Centuries.

More a case of that a small part of Belgian territory remained free (because of the actions of some sluice guards).

If someone explained Belgium to you and you understood it, they didn't explain it well.

I know a bit about that cringy feeling, which I suppose is common among Lit authors. "Did that really come out of my mind?" But it did. Maybe that's why we are on here in the first place, to openly confront and reveal (through a username) those thoughts.

No one ever explained it to me. I surely know less about it than some other countries. I was watching a history of Germany video recently (the last 1,000 years or so), and that is really complicated.

Sluice guards are the ones who let the North Sea flood in? I thought some portion of the Belgian Army remained active through the entire war.

And yes, unlike WWII, part of Belgium remained unoccupied and the army remained active throughout the war (though rarely participated in the more suicidal full frontal attacks from trench to trench that had so many British and French soldiers killed)

I'm surprised that my fake concentration camp idea hasn't gotten more traction among the denizens of Story Ideas. I mean, no one really gets hurt, unless you count the male customers submitting to dominatrices dressed as guards. Now that makes me cringe a bit, although it's rather mild compared to a lot of the stories that appear on here. That's one thing about Lit (and some other similar sites I'm now on): no matter what you think of, somebody else has something more extreme to write about.

to diverge from the Nazi theme, how about this: Clown bukkake - woman with clown makeup and surrounded by evil looking clowns all gettin off on her. This is so twisted I would almost expect someone to say ‘oh yeah, seen that one’
