Is there a word that keeps cropping up day after day? The same word? One that may cause a chuckle or a smack on the forehead wondering why you keep noticing this one word?

The word come has done it for me. I fall into fits of giggles over it right now. I should probably state that I sat through a religious discussion this past Sunday where this word was part of a speech given. A question was posed "What other words are brought to mind when you hear the word come?" I lost it. I bit my lip and ever since I hear the word everywhere (especially here) and it just makes me laugh or smile wide.

So what's your word or phrase for that matter?

After my phone call with you today, Caly, my word is sneeze.:D

ROFLMAO...okay so I have more than one word! Hmm...I think I could COME up with a few more...oh lawd...I wonder if there is something in my incense I shouldn't be burning?

Slack.

Everyone needs more slack. To be "cut some slack."

I don't mean slack as in lazy or couch potato or anything like that. I mean slack as in - being given a break, given some freedom, some understanding, flexibility.

Slack.

We all need it and we all need to grant it to others.

Slack.

Ok, here goes... After a very tough year, I landed a job interview with a former employer (different department) - I relish the opportunity to work there again!

Anyway, a very good and intuitive friend of mine (and yours) with very little information, told me she saw this opportunity happening, and she saw it being a "springboard" for something bigger and better. She said this is a very exciting time for me. The thing is this friend has very good instincts, and I trust her wholeheartedly.

I went to the interview today and found that there was an even better position available - one that was "right up my alley". the whole while I kept hearing my friend say 'springboard'... The thing is... there is so much potential here, and she really had no previous knowledge of it. And the best part of all? COMing across this opportunity was a complete and total fluke!... Now there's another word - fluke). I like 'fluke' too!

(Sorry it took so long for me to respond!)
:D

Right back at ya with the response time! Thanks for sharing with me!

A phrase going through my head right now all night has been C'est la vie.

Mine's not a word but the phrase, "Where's your sense of adventure". Every time my friend and I see each other and when we talk online we always manage to use that phrase and we always laugh when saying it.

Ours was "Sounds like a plan"...I got teased for always having plans.
