the word Horny!

is all wrong.

Don't take this the wrong way, it doesn't offend my oh-so-delicate sensibilities...it's just that for the most part, it doesn't fit the feeling.

I mean that wonderful arroused feeling is not at all HORNY...

it's a pleasant, warm, gooey feeling...or a wonderful, bright, charged feeling...or...many other things but not HORNY.

but "arroused" is too formal for 'down and dirty' references.

I'm putting this out as a plea, there needs to be a word that's better at describing this feeling, than 'horny.'

So you're looking for a word that has more of a sexually charged connotation than "aroused", but less than "horny"?

There's always "randy", but if you aren't British, using that word makes you sound like a complete dork.

You can always invent your own euphemism and share it with your current SO. That way, through experience, he'll get the idea of what you mean when you use that word

well, I'm hoping that more than my SO will decide upon a word...that way I don't have to run into "horny" everywhere...maybe it's a pipe dream.
