Sorry didn't mean to kinda take over the IC thread. Purposely slowing down a bit so you guys can do something. Also if you haven't read it there isn't much of anything that's important to anybody but me and UNS until the last post.

Yeah, that's fine. I was enjoying reading the back and forth between you two . I'm afraid to go too far into the weather wizard arc thing because Cassie, Odi, and Feli are all still back at the house and all. I want to give them some time to do something with their characters. Plus, I was hoping to save the actual battle with the weather wizards for chapter two, since the theme of chapter one is love and life lessons. I was hoping to create some bonds before delving into battles. You and Nerdy's chars have begun bonding, but we still have a ways to go with Vaan/Cassie and Odi/Feli (just assuming they're gonna end up together, lol).

Possible chapter three story could revolve around the life force draining bad guy Kris was investigating in his post. It would be cool if we each take turns coming up with baddies and story arcs for chapters. The weather wizard could be yours, since it was you who first mentioned someone messing with the weather. The life suckers could be Knight's, and then Nerdy, Tears, Lily, and Nite could each come up with a story arc. That would then comprise of seven chapters. Chapter Eight could start an epic story arc that covers several chapters and lasts for a few weeks in game time.

That should take us into the summer, and then we could bring Vaan's brother Calvin in and have a huge battle between vampires and werewolves and all the other stuff I mentioned previously. Whatcha think?

Also, I just realized when speaking of the bonding thing, we need another female for Kris. Unless Feli is gonna go for Kris, in which case we need a girl for Odi, hehe.

For the life suckers I am trying to figure out how to mold that character, I am going with a man who thinks he's god and the people he kills are sacrificing themselves to him. Alternatively, a man who was afraid to die found the spell; he learned it but destroyed it before he finished reading it.

i'm still going through other ideas to see which one would work the best

I might be tempted to do another character if no one shows an interest before too long, probably just make an apprentice this time... That's if no one objects....

Well I purposely sped things up to get to you guys and get everybody involved for a bit.

i think that the Weather Wizard battle might be better spent as a chapter one thing (even if it's just a decoy) which is kinda my vote. Sure it could be someone doing this on purpose but my charachter just assumes someone made a mistake or someone isn't balanceing things properly. Course the problem is he's far too self centered to give a shit. he wouldn't go chasing after this guy unless he did something to him personally.

Hmmm. Well, maybe the weather wizards are three kids screwing around, like maybe their parents are trying to teach them to use magic properly but the kids are out of control? That could still fall under the theme for chapter one -- lessons of love and life -- the kids learn to appreciate life more, and that their parents love them and are only trying to raise them right.

As for how our chars become involved, maybe the kids steal your wings or something.

Or we can stick with the original plan. That plan doesn't suck. I was just throwing out ideas. If we make a bigger deal out of it we can combine it with the "vampire" that is being tracked. Maybe there is something very specific he needs or maybe some kind of anniversery is coming up that will let him change something.

I just had an idea for a huge vampire plot -- what if they tried to make Yellowstone blow prematurely and evil wizards help by using magic to direct all the ash that will shoot into the sky to block out the sun long enough for vampires to conquer the world without being vulnerable during the day? Hehe.

Hey if you guys feel I'm taking over an posting too much just tell me and I can back off a bit. I've done enough RP here and otherwhere to know that lack of posting can kill an RP. If nobody is posting it's often because they can't. Stuck someplace for soem reason (thank you UltimateNerdSlut for un-stucking me) and there is nothing they can logically do.

However too much progress/someone taking over can also kill a thread. It's kinda like why nobody starts watching 24 in the middle (or started watching Lost after season 1) if you don't know what's up and have to play catch up tis no fun. Granted almost none of what went on between me and UNS meant anything to any of you it's still a lot to gloss over to make sure there was nothing that mattered.

So in short I want to keep things moving but I don't want to get really out of hand and turn people off.

On a side note I think at some point we should have a "formal" way of declaring the end of a day. Something where if two players are still going at it they take one post and then play via PM and then put it together later. I don't want this thing to stall because two people are having sex for a week (because of posting schedules) while everybody else is asleep and waiting for tommorow. You can all read how great it is later.

Yeah, you could do sex scenes via PM and then post it all together later. And if some people get ahead of others, they can always look back on past post and then lead up to the current thing happening all in one post. Though, to be honest, With almost half our players not posting, I'm starting to lose interest in this thread. I'll keep posting for now, but if Tears, Lily, and Nite don't post soon, then we may as well recast or something. The whole idea of this game was some hot kinky love between a wizard and his apprentice, or so was the founding idea that inspired me to make this rp. But if my apprentice is AWOL, then the founding source of the rp is absent.

I love Tears, but I'm going to have to replace her if this rp is to survive. So, I need a new female to play Vaan's apprentice. Any takers?
