Greetings,

Similar to the What am I game.

Rules:

1. Keep conversation to the thread (i.e. not via IMs).
2. Provide 3 clues.
3. If you get it correct, you post the next subject.

Sometimes the obvious can't be seen... I was at the point to check if marivaudage had an equivalent in english when the obvious popped out.

Who else for a BDSM forum than the Divin Marquis, Donatien-Alphonse-François de Sade...

(I should have let Marquis answer... )

Let's keep in the same realm and try to guess who she is:

At an older age:

Clues:
1. She's French
2. She made an important declaration in an interview to the New York Times in 1994
3. She also edited an anthology of religious poems.

Good luck :D

Oups... I cross posted with Cutie Mouse...

But since I know the answer to hers too: Egon Schile...

Anne Desclos, Dominique Aury, Pauline Réage, yes, the author of the Story of O ...
A big thumbs up for HB1965... Snakes rule!

The important declaration she made to the NY Times in 1994 is when she for the first time admitted she actually had written this book.

Your turn...

Edited to add: I realize my post answering CM's quizz must have seem harsh and... "i-know-everything"-like. If it did, I sincerely apologize.

Maybe Xuanzang, Hsiuan-tsang in Wade-Giles, the chinese monk who travelled east to bring back original texts of the buddist doctrine?

As an aside, one of my favorite characters in fiction, Sun Wukong the Monkey King, is found in the fictional record of his travels, Journey to the West:

PS: if I guessed right, please feel free to keep the ball rolling, as I will be away until Monday.

No Sorry

Horneybabe and all,

Dont worry about some of them being easy, lets just keep it fun.

Sometimes simple can be just that.

I have no problem with it being easy. I was just teasing him.
