before we even start playing, i ask him to get a nice big old towel for me. feels nice in contrast to the smooth sheets.

I like to do that myself too.

Okay...How in the hell do YOU deal with it?

Women - "Well, you made it so you have to sleep in it!"

Man - "I strategically placed it and you "dropped" the ball. You sleep in it."

What's the answer to this age old problem?

Change the sheets? Hair dryer? Towel? Spare bedroom?

I'd be glad to have this problem to deal with.

You deal with it by remembering how sad it is when you have no wet spot to deal with. Lovemaking is by no means a strictly physical undertaking, but I submit that if you can't resolve coping with a wet spot to your mutual satisfaction you've got bigger issues to address.
