the weirdest thing: is there a nefarious pirate site mimicking Literotica?

I logged in to Literotica and navigated to my Homepage just to confirm that my newly submitted story is still in Pending, which it should be - it's only been 2 days.

However, I showed new Activity - and that the story was Published. So I navigated over to the story but got an error page. Something felt off, so I bailed out; rebooted my laptop; logged in again; and sure enough: no new Activity, and my story still in Pending.

Is this a "known" type of glitch for the site? Or is it something else?

Stories do sometimes get published early by accident, and then get withdrawn until the batch is supposed to be processed. I've been reading a story only to have it vanish when I clicked to the last page, and then had to wait about 8 hours for it to officially go live to finish it.

If the pending story has a "New" marker next to it in your pending folder, it's meant to go live with the next batch at around midnight Pacific. ( Usually a little earlier of late ) and that's usually when these accidental early releases happen.
