First a few questions and answers...
Why the Wayward Lounge?
I wanted to create a thread where I could post about random things when I feel like it... I don't Tweet although for some reason I have followers on Twitter. I have a lot to say but often don't take the time to write things down and then I regret it...
I also wanted to create a thread/place for anyone to post but especially those that don't travel in among the LIT Cool Crowd. Don't get me wrong... I'm not anti-LIT I just find LIT to be a very odd creature. It's a sex-based website that somehow in the LIT Forum's turns into this high-school-esque beast where cliques run rampant and the idea's you post are far less important than who your virtual LIT friends are. Truth be told, my real life is full of all the friends I need... I'm not looking for validation from anyone... I'm not looking to have sex with anyone... I don't want to meet in real life...
I do want a place... a thread... to express myself... and hopefully some intelligent people will find their way to this thread and we can have some fun. Or not... again, since I've never really had the time or inclination to try hard enough to be in the LIT Cool Crowd I'm doubting this thread will take off but, in the end, that's okay... because if that happens it will just be for me anyway...
Who the hell are you and why should anyone care?
One one hand... you shouldn't care... you don't know me, you only know the word's I've chosen to type into a sex-driven website forum. On the other hand, I'm a published writer of short stories and plays, I've written a novel, acted, been a stand-up comedian... I've had an amazing life full of great times and some of the deepest tragedies you can imagine. In real life I'm the guy people come to for advice... I'm the reliable person you call when you're in trouble... I'm the problem solver...
Regardless of all of that, my advice is... check out this thread... if you see something that interests you... read it... maybe respond... if not... don't respond and find a thread you like better...
