The weather in NY has been ODD!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a bit of rain. NO SNOW!!!!!!!!!!! KEEP IT THAT WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*Knocking on wood* Anyone else feel this way?

I don't remember it. I just know people keep saying, it was VERY snowy.

Well, the way things are lookin way down here in Tennessee.....I doubt we will get snow either...

And that is a good thing I guess. My truck isnt really fit nor ready to drive in that white stuff up here in the mountians!

It was snowy, slippery and cold as hell.

Horrible horrible weather.

In this country lots of people bet on a white christmas. An official white christmas is when there is snow on the roof of the Met office. Which is in the middle of London. And heated.

A couple of years back most of the country was under the white stuff but the Met office was snowless. The bookmakers didn't pay.

We had a touch of snow for about 15 minutes. The dandelions are still blooming.

Colorado Christmas

Brown Christmas is more common here on the plains of Colorado (not the mountains) than White. Our weather is so unstable. It was 0 degrees three days ago, and today we'll go over 50. We've got snow right now, but if the warm 'snow-eater' winds kick in, we might hit 70. Blizzard one day and two days later you're outside in shorts. Lots of variety!

Erosman,

How you described your area and the weather - that's almost what it's like where I live also. One day it will be 15 degrees and the next it will be 50 degrees. We get what they call lake effect snows - one of the few spots on the earth to get these.

I'm really hoping for a no snow Christmas. Sorry everyone. We travel back to the east coast to visit family and the last thing I want is to travel through the mountains with bad weather. We've had to do that so many times before and it's not fun.

How ironic

Usually Kansas has been parched brown by this time of year, yet as I look out over the pasture from my office in the loft, all I see is green. I was out working in my t-shirt earlier!

Too warm

It doesn't need to be a white Christmas, but I wish it was colder here! Temp is now 54 degrees (after 1AM), and the forecast calls for 50s and 60s at least through Wednesday. Can't seem to get into the holiday spirit!

I feel the same JOH, this is just my second Christmas in Florida, (it's been in the 80's last few days) and I can't get the "feel." I used to put up all decorations the day after Thanksgiving, so far this year I have a few of the outdoor lights done and that's it!
Someone sing me some Christmas carols!!!!

I just decorated outside yesterday, and it was in the 70's. I so did not feel in the holiday mood. Last year it was much cooler.

I second that motion! How's a body suppose to ride his dadburned H-D in this crap? I don't worry about getting wet, it's the cagers that aren't looking for me that I fret. Besides, people look more attractive when the weather's decent than looking like the michelin tire guy! :D

Being from Ohio, i am used to the cold weather. I dont like it...but it goes with the territory. During the month of December I prefer it to be cold and snowy. It puts me in the holiday spirit, but as of Jan 1st, it can go right back to 80 degrees as far as I am concerned. This hasn't happened yet!:(

Here in Georgia it has also been in the 80's. We actually did reach 38 one night but by 1 pm that same day it was in the 70's. No need for Santa to worry about a fire in the fireplace here and the kids can't hear him over the air-conditioning.

Makes it a bit tough as said to get in the spirit.

Hey Naughty.. I know how you feel, I have been in Florida a looong time... I'll make sure I dont sing you "dreaming of a white christmas"..... (ducks) :p

what odd weather...

We still have flowers in bloom hanging in baskets from the front of the garage, pumpkins on the porch from Thanksgiving, and Christmas lights strung along the eaves.

What season is this again? We should be bitter cold, with snowflakes flying in a stiff wind, but it's sunny today and should make it to the fifties. My storm windows aren't down yet.

I think my grass is still growing too. Shit, if I have to mow in December I'm going to be pissed.

Iowa winters are ugly with out snow...... They are damn cold if we have snow or not........ so let it snow!!!!!!!!!!

Hahaha, so what carol would be appropriate for Fl?

There is a good side to this though, hubby and I took our grandson (I am a VERY YOUNG g-ma) to the zoo yesterday to see Santa. He had his pic made (of course) and is wearing a tank top and shorts. I love sending the photo to family back home, where it's cold and snowing. Rub it in a bit ya know ;)

Another good thing about Florida... is I have just come in from lazing around at the pool all afternoon.. can't do that up north..
Hmmm, a good Florida Christmas Tune.. well there is "Grandma got run over by a Reindeer"... if the reindeers drive anything like the retirees do... :D

Ho, Ho, Ho.......

In Central Connecticut it was sunny in the mid 50's. I had on a tee shirt and shorts. I was outside hanging Christmas wreaths in all the windows. Whats wrong with this picture:confused: I should have been out playing softball and doing a brewski:D SAFE.........

Jaded1, CT

Merry Christmas to all and all a good night....:D :D :D
