The Wars (Comics) -- OOC // Casting Call

Im gonna play Wolverine, except with teleporting powers like nightcrawler, he works as a ninja commando type character for Earth Guard in marvel wars

anybody else of all the people who have viewed it, want to play?

surely some others want to.

Hey Nitecrow i have been viewing the progress of this and would like in, I haven't decided on who I want to be yet, but they well be a hybrid of at least two characters, i was thinking storm and Phoenix, both have asume powers and would make and interesting character.

What do you think???

hmm, not too keen on the pheonix idea, as that kind of power i something i'd like to keep away from, especially as there is a male version of Pheonix on Pyms eternity council.

you suck, lol, i guess I well have to come up with something else, not sure what yet, but now it might take me a while, but don't count me out I can be creative when I need to be.

Marvel war Baddies.

The main villian for this is Ultron, leader of the Eternity Council.

Main Leader
Hank Pym, aka Lord Ultron, a cyborg technopath.

The eternity council (Generals)
>> James Grey, aka Pheonix.
>> Vision
>> The Female Venom
>> Madame Hydra (Basic shapeshifter)
>> Crossbones (as is but with invulnerability)

Troops
Pym Class Sentinels.
Visions Death Squad (Alkhema, Cyborg Red Skull, Cyborg Falcon, Gambit)
Hydra Troops
Corrupt Shield Agents
Pheonix's Thralls
Venoms symbiotic offspring drones.

Heres some females you could use or choose from to merge if that helps PK

Polaris
Warbird
Psylocke
Storm
shadowcat
Mystique

or u could choose an aforementioned character and change them slightly...
Invisible woman
black cat
wasp

or u could choose a male character and make it female.

hey could I merge Mystique with Rouge so she could nto only take on a persons form but obsorb their power as well?

You know, you could knock Jean's power level down quite a bit from when she had the Phoenix force. Just mix storm element from column A with telekinetic from column B.

Phoenix could do just about anything she wanted to. Heck, at one point she transmogrified a tree into solid gold. There's no need to mix her powers with anyone.

The rogue-mystique thing could work, saying that she can only transform into those she touches, so basically her powers would be

Turn into whomever you touch (Automatically happens can't be controlled.)
Only other transformation could be into normal form

(i.e. she can only either become her normal self, or the last person she absorbed)

whomever she is she gains the pro's, cons, looks, powers, weakness ect of that person.

i also agree with what tim suggested, that would work too.

just post a bio and i'll tell you what i think.

Well thank you but when I suggested Phoenix i meant more at the level Jean was at in X man three. but I like my new idea

cool, i like the idea of the mystique/rogue combo as well.

this will mean we will have 4 chars when PK and RIM post there bio's, we could do with some more female chars.

Name: James Howlett
Alias:Wolverine
age: exact age unknown over 100 years old, (healing factor has kept him physically at his prime)

Powers:healing factor (much reduced from former power i.e. could not regenerate his entire body if reduced to his skeleton as he once could) superhuman senses, superhuman strength (could lift a ton with extreme effort), superhuman agility, limited teleportation (alien nanotechnology he recieved helping the shi'ar against a kree invasion limited to a ten foot radius and only that he can see i.e. could not teleport through a wall) adamantium skeleton, retractable claws.

skills: having trained as a samurai, ninja, spy, assasin, and soldier he has developed great skill at covert operations and has mastered virtually every form of martial arts known to man, is proficient with virtually any bladed weapon or firearm. His advanced age also gifts him with great experience in pretty much any situation.

bio: Wolverine is still the best at what he does, even though what he does aint pretty. Currently working for earth guard as a special operative. (for more information check wikipedia or marvel database.)

cool' cept its G-force in this thread and not earthguard, as they are both completely different threads. (as in history and who they're fighting)

Here goes nothing. Anyone who was is the other camic book based thread I was in will remember that i have a hrd time knowing what world these come from.

so if the form (hero, abilities, ect) work you choose which world they should belong to.

idea....
A female of atlantian race, (one of your worlds did mention atlantis as a real place) looks about 25 is closer to 50, they age slower.

Powers, simaliar to aquaman (telepethy, move silently, extra good eye sight) but with some invisabilty in both water and land, plus a good deal stronger then a normal human.

I won't chance an incharacter post, as I am still pleasantly buzzed from the night's activities.

However, Newlysubbed, your characters powers seem to echo either Marvel or DC for a human/atlantean cross breed, like Aquaman or Namor, the Sub-Mariner. Namor did not have telepathy, per se, but the animals of the sea were occaisonally subject to him. Arthur, aka Aquaman, only has telepathy with the fishies and other animals of the sea.

Easy enough to give yourself those powers though. Just toss in a mutant gene into the human side of your human/atlantean crossbreed and you're good to go. You probably won't be quite as strong as either Namor or Artie, they are both directly descended from Poseidon after all. They are both almost as strong as Superman or the Hulk, and they can both fly, now that I think about it.

Namor, in fact, probably has the best track record against the Hulk, next to Captain America. And unlike Cap, Namor has taken several direct hits from the Hulk.

ok.

i agree with tim, do an atlantean/mutant cross breed.

Marvel has Namor
DC had Aquaman

i think you be best doing Marvel which is spiderman, X-men, hulk ect.

is that ok newlysubbed?

if u need anymore help just ask.

tho i almsot always prefer Marvel, i find aquaman to be way cooler then Namor, especially the more recent looks for him, with a sword and armor and long flowing beard and stuff, namor still looks stupid to me.

i prefer Marvel though Dc does have a few good points.

never liked namor or aquaman that much.

Namor just doesnt look that tough or kingly to me, he needs some armor and maybe a trident or sword or something, or at least some clothes.
