She watched him curiously as a strange expression crossed his face for a brief moment, but she shook it off as he laughed. Cira felt slightly baffled that he had searched for her, but flattered nonetheless. She doubted his inability to find her was due to the change of her name, but mostly due to the fact that she was constantly being moved.
His offer was noble, and as she started to object, he cut her off. Sighing, she nodded, still looking slightly apprehensive. What would he think when she told him where she lived?
“I do not want to impede upon whatever plans you already had. I am heading back towards the heart of Ilia.” Drawing the blanket around her more tightly, a random shiver coursed through her body.
