:eek: I just read that after searching. Or that he's a virgin! So not how I see him, that might take some more evolving with his character because it's not something they could just spring out of the blue with some Rick on Daryl action.

Like I said after the season finale, I couldn't figure out how they could possibly do entertaining television with all our regulars inside a boxcar. So they switched it up on us -- after the whole second half of last season was about the search for Terminus, they dispatched with that entire plot thread in the space of a half hour.

We've seen enough of the wider world to get the impression that most of the people who are still living are a lot more ruthless than our characters. I imagine that's where most of the conflict is going to continue to come from.
 
I'm turning off the lights and going in. Starting with last season's finale. That music gives me the creeps.
 
I love the character Carol, she is a very rational thinker, never breaks her MO.
 
Rick, I do believe head become the badass we have all been waiting for him to become.


Plus how can you not love a man that carries a python with him everywhere he goes.

Also, it looks like Beth is terminus poo.

That was just a terribly way to end the season. Honestly these writers don't know how to end seasons since they fuck up more than they get it right. Season 1 ends on an ambigious note with honestly no threads of any worth to pick up and carry moving forward. Good but not great end.

Season 2 ends with them leaving the farm, again no major threads left. PRetty damn good.

Season 3 ends like a Mid Season Finale. They were just kinda confused and had no clue what the fuck happened. The real S3 finale served as S4 mid point finale.

S4 ended at a point that made the S5 start awkward and dumb. So much energy was put in to Terminus and then they spring everything on us all at once and solve it. Like they didn't even want to be bothered in the first fucking place. Then discovering what they thought was an empty compound would have served pretty much as well if you put a big fight right before it.

OH AND WHO TOOK THAT BLONDE BITCH THAT I DIDN'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT UNTIL TWO SECONDS BEFORE SOMEONE TOOK HER. AND ONLY THEN CUS DARYL DESERVES A BJ!

I don't think those two in particular. I just meant that I read that Daryl may turn out to be gay. I only mentioned Rick's name because he's the main character and those two are friends.

When Beth and Daryl were on the run together, when Daryl started to open up, it was quite clear that he'd lived his life prior to zombie apocalypse without meaningful human interaction. Merle was the one who cared about him, and their relationship was highly problematic.

Daryl is a survivor and his particular skill set is ideal. His character has grown so much emotionally over the series. It started with Sophie, and he couldn't handle the feelings. Whether he cares for Carol (or Beth) as a love interest remains to be seen, but there is no denying he cares for them.

Mild spoilers and opinions

I'm a huge of the series... both the TV show and the comic series which it is based off

Carol has come a screaming long way from where she started... as the mousy wife of a domestic abuser.. she loses her husband, loses her child and decides to fianlly stop beig the victim... she's practical, tactical and can get the job done right... but she doesnt always do the right thing, and only realized that when she had to kill that kid Ol Yeller style in her way of penance


the spoiler/opinion... in the comics Carol has been dead a long long time.. she gotten eaten by zombies at the prison.... but Andrea is not.. and Andrea acts as Rick's opposite and equal

that's what I think they're going to do with Carol... someone who will publicly disagree and explain why..someone who will not act against the group, but whats best for the group.. and wont usurp it...she'll be like Shane.. without the douchenozzlery


and this isn't the last we've seen of the Termites.. Gareth wasnt killed.. and he's shown in other trailers talking to Rick that werent in the episode


and so has Beth


and I dont see Rick and Michonne hooking up.. she and Daryl are his right hand....plus it kinda is just stupid that male and female characters have to hook up...some people can be friends after all, forcing a romantic relationship is just pandering
 
Honestly if Michone isn't getting porked by the end of the series it's because everybody around her is gay. No other excuse exists.

I think it's awesome that the characters that never existed in the comic, Bob, Sara, Tyrese's sister, Daryl.. have developed so well

I just suck at names and I've accepted that the show and the comic exist in barely similar universes. I'm really shocked Carl still hasn't been offed.
