The Walking Dead

Great episode last night. Loved how Rick saved his son. I can just image what he will do in season 5 to save his friends and family.

I'm calling no fewer than three episodes in the boxcar. Most of the fans bitching about too much time on the farm or in the prison need to stop watching the Walking Dead and go watch something that isn't about the story but is about the action, something like Power Rangers. They need a little bit of time to make this real. They also badly need to perform a time skip here, Carl is no longer believable as a young kid, he's a teen. They did a decent job of keeping him from standing too close to anybody for most of the episode but it's clear he's very nearly looking Rick in the eye these days and as far as we can tell MAYBE two years have past and probably not even that long. This is also a good opportunity to get rid of a few characters if they want. A time skip of some level while you'd have to wonder why Tyrese and Carol didn't go to Terminus would allow them to jump the baby to a toddler. . .God baby has GOT to die or get time skipped several times.

All i can say is Holy fuck...

Also cannibals is my guess but I thought that as soon as i noticed the chick was wearing beths sweater

I don't think it was Beth's sweater. I'm holding out hope for Beth. I was starting to like her and even like her with Daryl.

I think they're cannibals, but I don't think Beth was on the grill. She could also be a prisoner like the others whose stuff they were wearing, but kept elsewhere.
I think she hasn't even arrived at Terminus yet though.

I didn't catch that she was wearing Beth's sweater. Be a shame for her to have just died off screen.

If I'm Rick, I'm wearing that motherfucker's blood in my beard. I'm not wiping it off. Every now and again in this world you have to let the rage monster out.

Yea, but the baby gets thrown on the grill

I was wondering what the Terminites are going to do with the baby. If their cannibalism has turned into some sort of crazy-ass religion -- which was a possible explanation for that room that looked like a shrine -- then I could see the value of raising someone from infancy in that, er, lifestyle, to carry on the faith. It's not like Judith would make any sort of meal just yet.

I don't recall that Beth and Daryl ever knew about Terminus. If I remember correctly, Daryl first found out about it from the rape gang. So Beth is out there as a loose end. She could probably be dropped as a character -- just have her regarded as a "vanished" victim of the breakdown of society -- but I suspect they won't go that route.

Whatever happened to her can't be very good, though I suppose anything beats being dinner for the dead and/or the living.

...

You've never had veal.

I missed that! Must watch it again.

Ooh Rick's gone all Rambo. Love it.

I dont think Beth is dead either. Characters just dont just poof away like that. I agree that she is probably in a train car somewhere.

I liked the hershal flashbacks. It made him more like a father figure twards rick

Very true. I'm reading the comics now to get some more insight into theories floating around (though I know she wasn't in the comics).
It would be interesting to me if they let her vanish and remain a loose end. I usually hate that, but in this situation, it makes total sense for someone to vanish and have an unknown fate. Almost certain they won't go that route though.

When they were being herded through the terminal by AK cattle prods, they passed a large pile of flesh stripped human remains.

I think we will find other rail cars, with prisoners being held inside.

The rail cars were a touch of Nazi Germany.

Rick's group did not recon enough.

Why didn't either group send in a recon party instead of all going in en masse?

Carol will rescue them all. She is the Carolinator.

Maggie needs to get naked.

I'm lost...when and how did we find out that the Terminites are cannibals?
