Between Aarons shots and the shots from the roof the middle staircase was pretty protected. There were a few bodies of the dead piled up at the bottom now, and there weren't any roaming around there now anyways since the four of them had been shooting. He was thankful the four of them were able to hold off this group, but found it weird that all the shouting and shooting hadn't gotten them any more help which worried him.
"Darn! Another herd is coming through the woods! About ten, fifteen maybe!"
Aaron moved to take some shots at that herd as well, shutting his door since it seemed they were pretty secure at the motel now. "I got eyes on the woods as well, any other dead roaming around? The sooner we can stop shooting the less ammo we waste and the less chance we have of more coming along." Aaron yelled from the second floor walkway.
