Please for anything not regarding the stroyline go through the OCC thread.

Walking through the mansion, I slowly looked around it. The main hall was a beautifully set room, with marble floors, and paintings worth more then anyone could imagine, it was set in black and white theme, which made it look totally imposing, walking into the study, I sat myself down onto the chair, it was full of maroons and golds, with beautifully covered books, and a mahogany table. Calling from the phone on the side, I talked on the line for a few minutes gathering the neccessary information for tonights meeting in the club.
Geeting up, I picked up my coat, which was a simple black fur lined coat, which complemented the deep red dress I was wearing. Getting into the car, I told the driver to take me to the club which was already full of all sorts of vampires, there was a special bar with a special entrance, which only a select few people knew of.
Tonight I was to meet with the other clans leader, recently more and more brutal killings had been taking place which were leading to questions which could put the whole vampire race at stake.
getting out, the dresses slit on one side parted to reveal a generous amount of leg.
Walking in, I nodded at the security which kept out the riff raff, for this was an exclusive club for exclusive people.

Abel Knights stood on a rooftop, looking out at a club down on the ground. It seemed normal enough, to the untrained eye. But Abel was definitely not untrained. He was a man of the Church, specifically, the Investigations Committee. What that essentially meant was that he was the man the Church sent out to take care of problems dealing with various types of what they believed to be the Undead. They believed them to be unholy creatures, violent and hungry monsters that fed upon the human race. While it was true that many of them did willingly attack the human race, Abel didn't consider them to be violent. At least, no more so than humans. Still, he did as he was ordered. If that meant killing werewolves or vampires or other creatures of the night, so be it. As long as no one found out the truth about himself, he was fine with it. He knew no one suspected what he was. How could they. According to legends older than he was, such creatures were unable to go out in the day. Nor could they resist the scent of blood. Abel knew he was different. He didn't know why, but he knew that it was a gift.

When he saw a woman in a red dress and fur coat climb out of a chauffered vehicle and enter the club, he knew the time would be soon. The question was, what would he do. He was normally a very passive man. He didn't like fighting, and preferred to talk out problems. However, he knew how to fight surprisingly well. He always carried a pair of silver-finished pistols and numerous other weapons. The staff he carried, which was the sole outward indication of his job in the Church, hid within it a razorsharp blade, made of the strongest steel. He preferred to rely on it, as many of the creatures he was sent to hunt could move faster than a bullet.

Figuring the time was right to at least sneak into the club and get close enough to find out what was going on, he jumped down from the roof. He walked slowly towards the front door to the club, and was stopped by the bouncer. When the bouncer threatened to call the police and have him arrested, Abel shrugged, and backed off. He circled around to the back of the building, and jumped off the walls until he was on the roof. There, he opened a window in the skylight, and climbed in, silently and undetected.

Walking into the club, I saw a few vampires, who werent to old, I saw a few who were, old friends and a few old enemies, the club and mansion have always been neutral ground in which to conduct business.
Walking towards the room on the other side of the club, I stopped to say hello to an old aquaintence and friend, he seemed to be entertaining a particularly lovely girl, by morning she would have a slight headache, but have no more recollection of the nights events, anyone who did not follow the rules, were given no oprtion but death, but the other clan did not believe in these rules, many had moved into the darkness of the night to torture and kill innocent mortals, giving the vampire race a bad name.
So far there was a undertow of mutual agreement to lay off the violence, but something was brewing below the surface which threatened the whole vampiric race.
Walking into the room, I discarded the coat, showing of a lovely pair of shoulders in a halterneck cut dress, it was essential to know how to disuade the opposition from making any hasty desicions.
Settling down I orders a glass of bloodwyne specially kept in the store for the VIP room.

Abel had found his way into the room occupied by the woman from before. It had been fairly easy, he reflected. Either they didn't expect anyone to be foolish enough to try to sneak into a club of vampires, or it was a trap. The lax security could easily be an attempt to lull any intruders into a sense of false confidence. Abel wasn't like most, though. He kept to the shadows in the room, using his own innate stealth and silence to move about without alerting her. He didn't want to be detected until the moment he had to actually do any fighting. He studied her, reflecting for a moment again. She was quite goodlooking, he decided. As he thought back, he realized he couldn't remember ever seeing an UGLY female vampire. He wondered if maybe it had something to do with genetics, or if the vampires chose their children for their appearance. It seemed a petty, rather human way of thinking. Still, he didn't fancy himself a psychologist, let alone of the Vampirics. No, all he was was a man of the Church. A hunter, a killer when necessary. But a man of the Church no less.

Rayne

Glancing at my watch, I realised the meeting was going to last awhile, nodding at the security guard to leave me alone, I went to a painting, it was portriat of a beautiful woman, the wife of the first elder to ever begin the clan, when things werent so complicated.
Walking back to the chair, I sat down, and got out a few documents from my briefcase. Alex had decided he would show up when he wanted. Feeling a sense of being looked at I glanced at the painting, my sense were finely tuned, but there was no sense of danger. I just hoped Alex didnt bring his cronies with him.
When the bodyguards announced he had arrived I nodded an affirmation to let him in as soon as he walked into the club.

Gavin - The Neutral Vampire

Gavin sat silently in a corner of the nightclub. The ultraviolet lights and other coloured lights flashed out over the crowd. He sighed softly as he let his bangs fall in front of his eyes. Things were so boring these days. A lot of the people who hung out at these clubs there says were even more frightening than he was. He sighed softly drumming his fingers against the table that sat in front of him, staring at the glass of tomato juice. He really didn't like red wine that much. It was a bit cliché, and really didn't taste of feel that much like blood at all. He found that vegetable juice was much closer to reproducing the texture and thickness.

He sighed softly as he watched someone who had what appeared to be a giant fin made of hair on their head. He blinked for a moment and then shook his head. That was just so bizarre. He couldn't imagine why anyone would adjust their hair in such a fashion, or what kind of person would ever be attracted to that specific hair style. It wasn't until he noticed the girl who was dancing with him, who had adjusted their hair so that it stood straight up and dyed it florescent colours. These people were far too bizarre, but at least they made him seem more normal.

Alex took his time getting dressed for the up coming meeting with the two clan leaders. He didn't trust any of them to very abide by the rules set by their leaders, If he had his way. He would just as soon kill them all one by one. One thing good about going to this meeting was Rayne. They never met officially but he saw her a few time. Him being a vampire hunter and her a good vampire.

He sure would love getting to know her better. He smiled wondering what she was into. Men or women.

He was able to sense the good for the bad vampire due to his mothers blood in him. He wonder how many would attend this time. He hoped that for once they could all get together with something positive.

He was just about at the club when he sensed another Vampire in front. He spotted the tail lights at it come to a stop in front. He spotted her as she got out on the car and walked into the entrance.

He pulled in front of the club and got out. He threw his keys to the attendant and told not to scratch the paint.

The club was already full of Vampires good, bed, and would be's. He scanned the place with a quick glance around, but didn't see Rayne. "I guess she went into the meeting already." He thought. He headed to the private entrance and the security nodded to him to go right in.

As the curtains parted to let in Alex, I nodded my head in a greeting.
"Hello Mr. Alex, thank you for coming" my voice was soft and seductive but carried a hint of steel underneath, many people knew to cross me was not a good idea.
"Would you like a drink?"
I gestured to the bodyguard to send in a waiter.

Alex

Alex scanned the room with out turning than looked at Rayne and nodded in greeting,

"Hello Mr. Alex, thank you for coming".

He loved the sound of her voice. Was the seductive sound in her voice meant for him, or was it her way to greet men. He wondered. Still. He cringed when she addressed him as Mr. Hell. He couldn't even remember the last time anyone addressed as a Mr.

When she asked if he would like a brink he had his chance to correct that.

"I would like a drink if you promise to call me Alex. Mr. sounds so old fashion don't you think? He said to her with a smile. Make my drink a bottle of water thank you. He said to waiter."

Nodding my head in affirmation, I kept studying him, he had weapons on him of which I was sure of.
"so.....Alex, Shall we start our meeting," not waiting for a confirmation I continued "It seems i'm in need of your services, the other half of our clan seems to be getting more and more arrogant. For now I'm trying to talk to them, but if need be i shall take the neccessary measures. Are you willing to take up the job?"
My eyes had become luminous, showing how angry I was at the current situation. Calming down a little I raised one eyebrow up at Alex.

Abel raised an eyebrow, startled at the conversation that started. So there were problems in the vampire ranks. He filed the information away in his razorsharp mind for later. He continued to listen, staying silent and in hiding. Then he made a splitsecond decision, and stepped out of the shadows. "It sounds to me like a return to the Great Wars." He studied them for a moment, making no threatening moves until a guard rushed in and attacked him. He moved like lightning, turning the guard's weight against it, and threw him hard against the wall, upside down.

At the sudden movement from the shadows I gasped, and got up, my whole body tensed up and waiting, how he got in and how he managed to sneak into this room was still a mystery.
"It sounds to me like a return to the Great Wars." he said.
Just then the guard at the door rushed in, they were normally more alert then this. Watching with interest I saw the newcomer dispatch of the man, without too much trouble.
Raising my hand to stop any more guards, I looked at them and waved them out again. narrowing my eyes I turned around "who are you? and what is it that you want?" My anger at being disturbed in delicate negotiations was palable.

Abel bowed slightly. "I am Abel Knights. I was sent by the Church to observe this meeting. They had been worried that you were planning an attack on them. But shouldn't you introduce yourself, before asking others their names?" He smiled disarmingly, almost catlike in a grin with his eyes closed.

Walking upto him I looked at him and said "I do not see the need to introduce myself to someone who seems to know alot more about this meeting then they should."
Looking him down and up slowly, I realised he was faster and more of a threat then most, but I was chosen leader for a reason.
"As for the church, they have enough of their own affairs to handle without trying to butt into ours."
Looking at him contempuosly I almost growled out "How did you get in?"

Abel smiled that same disarming catlike smile. "I walked in. Let's leave it at that for now. After all, I don't know you nearly as well as I feel I should. Unlike some other members of the Church, I can appreciate things of beauty. I've got to ask, do vampires choose their offspring based on appearance? I've never seen any ugly vampires, so it got me thinking." He barely acknowledge the other vampire in the room, figuring she'd be more cooperative.

Looking at him, I knew there was something he was upto, I dont like hidden meaning, even if my world is full of them.

I've got to ask, do vampires choose their offspring based on appearance? I've never seen any ugly vampires, so it got me thinking."

At his question, I looked up startled, "How we choose our vampires, or how we look is none of my concern, alot more is at stake right now. Especially regarding the fact that the other clans leader is still not here."
Turning around I went back to my chair, sitting down, I crossed my legs which gave another glimpse of my leg.

Abel bowed slightly, watching her as she moved. She was quite beautiful, and he enjoyed the glimpse of her thigh. He leaned against the wall, and then turned his attention to studying the male. He had honestly expected a different reaction from her. The last female vampire he had met had tried to kill him. Twice, in fact, as he recalled.

Looking at Abel leaning against the wall I asked "What is it that you know of the old wars?"
Sitting back, I motioned for a waiter discreetly, "And would you like a drink?"

Abel shook his head. "No thank you. I don't drink while on the job. Though I suppose a glass of white wine wouldn't hurt." He smiled again. "As for the wars, I've studied them. It's hard to believe they started because of one vampire sovereign, mad for blood and power. She may very well be the reason the Church is so worried about your race."

So was a female that started the wars, I'm not power hungry, for now.
Sitting back I nodded at the waiter to bring Abel his white wine.
"Please take a seat Abel" being gratious enough to not offend anyone, plus he was someone i'd have to keep an eye on, for someone to be a hunter for the church was a dangerous thing.
Getting up I began to pace, I couldnt sit still for there was too much going on according to my coresspondance with whom i spoke with just before I got to the meeting.

Abel bowed again, then walked over to one of the chairs. He sat down gently and easily, taking the glass of white wine, and sniffed it. "This wine has to be at least five hundred years old." He took a sip, then winced slightly. "Closer to seven." He noticed the look of interest in her voice when he mentioned that the great wars were started by a woman. He remembered the name well, but he hadn't told her the truth. He hadn't read it, he had lived it. He couldn't tell anyone that in this world, he knew that.

"Yes the wine is old, but only kept for the more special guests"
Pushing a button I opened up the wall facing the inside of the club, as it slid aside, we could see most of the club downstairs. The otherside was a non reflective blank area. Vampires are known to not love mirrors. Going towards the window, I looked down. There seemed to be a feast going on, three vampires, one human.
Nodded at another guard. These guards were gettin slack, there was something needed to rectify this.
Turning round, I looked back at the two men sitting in their respective chairs, one who was here on request, the other who invited himself.
I watched dispassionatly as the three vampires were taken to the back room, for now it was not under my authority to punish them, just yet, for they had not killed the human, barly keeping her alive. I saw one of them glance up at the blank as they were taken away, did they know I was watching them?
Turning back, I felt the sense of tragedy, being inflicted on vampired by vampires, how ironic was it that one day we would turn on ourselves.

Abel nodded. He could see her thoughts in her face "If I didn't know better, I'd swear she had returned. Vampires fighting vampires. Next thing you know, they'll be feeding upon each other just because they are hungry. The question now is, what will you do? I cannot promise the full cooperation of the Church, as they will be suspicious about your intentions. Indeed, many would rather watch you destroy yourselves. I, however, am more worried about those who will survive."

In the end its a power game, "Abel, for all you know, the other half of our clan could win, what would happen then, for so far my reports have been worsening. As for winning or losing, I dont want to destroy anything but the misconception currently being held, of humans being nothing more then livestock. I feel it is neccessary for me to take action, but not before I talk to the other half of the clan, they have to realise where all this is going to lead to"

Abel smiled. She did understand the tactical situation then. "What I meant was, the survivors will be stronger. Far stronger than they are now. That is why the I am more worried about the survivors than I am the conflict. After all, even the humans become stronger with each battle." He had meant to say 'we humans' but the slip had been let out anyways. He hoped she didn't catch it, or at least, didn't question it.
