It actually wasn't clear, unless you viewed the entire tweet on Twitter.

So your outrage du jour is teh fact that the NY Times referred to Covid as "Wuhan virus" in January 2020 and then several months later chastised Republican senators for referring to it that way.

Okay, I'll bite. Often times when viruses and/or diseases come into the public view, tjey are identified by their first place of origin ( for example the "Spanish Influenza" which actually began in Iowa as I recall). As more and more information is gathered about a viirus a consensus generally emerges, and most people today call it "Covid".

Republicam politicians, most of them racist, kept referring to it as the "Wuhan virus" or "Kung Flu" solely to demonize China and establish their "anti-commie" cred with their voters.

You might recall the AIDS virus was originally termed the "Gay Flu" as well.
