The upper hand

Do you try to keep the upper hand in your relationships? Are you ever afraid of caring more about someone than they care about you?

I found it really ironic that I was having similar thoughts and then caught a Seinfeld rerun yesterday that was all about getting the "upper hand".

I'm talking early stages. Puppy love. Going ga-ga over someone you've known less than a month.

I don't do it often, so it tends to frighten me when I catch myself falling. I worry that I'm falling harder than the other person.

In the early stages, dont be afraid to take two big steps in your mind, then one small one in real life. If you get burned, well thats ok. DOnt be too afraid of getting toa mroe involved place, dont let doubt hinder your ability to have something with someone who excites you.
